OK. First, I don't have to prove jack to you. No matter what I say you'll have some issue with it. Of this tedious fact, I am absolutely sure. This is based on several exchanges with you over the past few months. I really should put you on ignore. However I find your "know it all" attitude somewhat entertaining when viewed at a distance.GrizinWashington wrote:Okay, I tried to stay out of this. But Mash, please explain to me (with proof of a legitmate quote, not a "my brother heard from his second cousin that Hauck told his brother's wife's nephew that the cats suck situation") how Hauck shows no class. I know cat fans don't like him. That's almost to be expected. But most of the stuff you guys say is complete urban legend.MashTun wrote:Hauck is still as immature as he ever was. No, this stems from back when Bobby first started coaching at UM, and he was quoted as saying something like... "We are Montana, that other school down the road is State. They haven't earned the right to use the word Montana in their name." Just paraphrasing, but he made comments similar to that. That didn't really bother me, as it just showed the maturity level of Bobby at the time. I do think he's matured in the past 5 years however.
Personally if I was a cat (thank God I'm not) I would prefer to be called state. Anything to put distance between my big brother up in Missoula
.
For his faults at least Kramer could congratulate the griz when he lost to them....which he didn't do that much.

What I will say about Hauck is that he doesn't have to say anything.
His actions can speak for him. Comparing him to Kramer after a Cat/fiz game, the first thing I recall Kramer saying was paying respect to his teams opponent in post game interviews(even the fiz). The first thing I see Hauck do when he's at the mike is to say " I really like our guys" (reference this years Cat/fiz), not complementing the opponent. A classy coach would complement his opponent briefly after a game, he certainly doesn't have to kiss a$$. A quick compliment doesn't hurt. It's not a big thing, it just shows lack of class. Glad he's your coach, not ours.
Plus...He almost always has this look on his face like his mom just made him eat squash, or he just dropped a pile in his pants...Man I love that expression. He usually does that when he's really stressed.
