As I was reading the list, I too was wondering why the author is hatin on people who wear shorts when it's cold. Seeing people wear shorts in cold weather always gives me a chuckle in an admiring kind of way. I don't see why anybody would get fired up over it.

When the sun comes out (even if it's cold), you see people wearing shorts in... oh... all over Montana.

Because you look like a complete and utter moron when you are wearing shorts and a t-shirt in the middle of winter. Even more so when you are wearing shorts and a winter jacket. I completely understand why this annoys him.

Nothing wrong with shorts in any weather they are fun and enjoyable whoever doesn't think so is a Communist.

This might be true for all Montana but I hate going into Universal and getting confused as to which hats are for Michigan and which ones are Montana State.

If you're not smart enough to figure out the Michigan hat you're looking for, too bad. 'Cat fans have no problem whatsoever buying a MSU hat.

I find it funny when I see a Bobcat fan wearing a Michigan hat thinking it's an MSU hat.

That always makes me smile.

Clearly, the people who wear shorts when it's cold aren't pre-occupied by their appearance, wouldn't you say? If it makes you happy and doesn't hurt anybody else, what's the harm?

I once went an entire year wearing only shorts. I was 13. I have since learned better.

When I retire and winter "someplace other than here", I'll wear shorts 365. And I may not even own shoes. I can't wait.

I was going to have lunch yesterday at some Food Co-op place, until I was at the counter and the kid making shakes and coffees looked like he hadn't had a shower, his pants were falling off, and he hadn't washed his hair. I thought, I don't want lice jumping from him into my protein shake. Went somewhere else.

i try to wear shorts every day i can. never knew there was such an uproar about guys who don't like to wear pants. the way i see it, if i'm not a ski patrol, or anyone else that has to dress warm, who cares? apparently many people. oh well. i'm a nice person, always try to do the right thing, and consider myself a good husband and father. i'm respectable, and my personal hygene is great. i wear my shorts over my ass, and brush my teeth. sometimes i enjoy shorts with long sleeves and every now and then a jacket. i might be a moron as some have pointed out, but i try not to judge people and act all knowing which is more than many of you can say.

Only Montanas would have a topic about wearing shorts in the winter time. I like it! Personally, if it's sunny outside and near 50 degrees I'm wearing shorts. I throw the hoodie on with shorts. Is that a little bit better than wearing a coat with shorts?

i guess. you'd have to ask the guys that labeled you a moron! personally, i try to follow the rule "if it's not hurting anyone....who cares?" but i'm a lot more laid back than most.
