The blame for the current credit crisis falls squarely on the shoulders of the residents of this once great country (note the cynicism). Simply put, if you can't afford it, don't buy it. That's what I've always been told/taught. Unfortunately, many people are learning this lesson the hard way.

Many people may be learning this lesson but our governments sure as hell don't.
