I'm actually bummed to hear your day was that bad. This was one of the more "civil" Cat/Griz games I've ever attended. My tailgate was full of Cat AND Griz fans who all enjoyed a lot of good natured ribbing throughout the day. We had a few Griz fans in our section and everyone gave each other some crap but it was all in fun. The only negative thing I personally saw all day was a Griz fan (she was on their track team a few years back), taunting the Cat players on their way back to the Fieldhouse. She kept asking "is that a tear? Are you crying because you lost to the Griz? aahhh?" She must have stayed there for about 15 minutes to taunt the majority of the players. I even heard some Griz fans telling her to STFU and show some class.
So I'm sad to hear there were so many d-bag Cat fans giving us a bad name as well.

Some people are a lot like slinkies....... Not really good for much, but it puts a smile on your face to watch them fall down a set of stairs.

Yeah, really bummed to hear the day was bad. With the success it feels like we've ended up with more and more obnoxious Cat fans.
The only three negative things I saw on Saturday were:
1.) Some students chanting "F____ The Grizzlies" as they walked behind a middle aged couple in maroon on the way into the stadium.
2.) A griz fan in a HOT PINK Griz shirt(I couldn't make that part up) in section 111 trying to start a fight with anyone around him. He was quickly escorted out of the stadium by the police.
3.) The lack of an MSU Football team that neglicted to show up for the game.
Other then that it was a pretty civil Cat/Griz game.

While I wish I could take credit for the photo, I was in the stadium as this was during the first half. This picture is on the Chronicle's website and I believe was in the print copy. I'm sure his mom and dad are proud of their baby boy...GrizinWashington wrote:coachouert wrote:You mean this genius? That would be the man in the neon pink UM shirt. He was a train wreck!

AG1: Re the pictures in your original post?? GW might be fair game, but the surreptitious photo of the high school senior and the accompanying comments, not so much.
it is no more reasonable for me to dictate your fan experience than it is for you to dictate mine
