Any truth to this rumor about Griz??

I have heard from several people this week, including one former Bobcat, that the Griz had volunteers scouting the Cats all year long and picked up several important tendencies regarding whether our play was going to be a pass or run. Several of these tendencies supposedly had to do with certain mannerisms of McGhee--such as foot placement, position of his mouth guard, etc. In fact, I was told that there was something on Youtube about this, though I haven't looked for it. Frankly, this would at least help me understand the Cat-Griz game this year. If you compared scores all year long, it was obvious that the two teams should have been evenly matched, or if anything, the Cats should have held the upper hand.

If this rumor going around is not true, then I guess the only other logical explanation for our beatdown is the fact that the Griz have apparently improved dramatically as the season has progressed. Their last three games have certainly been impressive, no question about that.

Well, anyway, let's take care of business down in Texas, and then we'll turn our attention to the Griz.

We had volunteers at evey game in the FCS this year so that if we played them in the playoffs we would know their "tendencies ".

Stop with conspiracy theories - the Griz are simply peaking at the right time and are playing great football. They beat us to earn home field and it's working out very well for them.

They are now 31-1 at Wa-Griz in the last four years. There's only one team that knows how to win there... Your Montana State Bobcats!

Umm - 31 and 1 at the Zoo in the last 4 years and the 1 loss was to the Bobcats. I would concentrate on the bigger picture here. How have the Cats done over the last 20 years in Wa Griz stadium? By the way - the Cats are usually good for a win when the Grizzlies switch coaches. Something we have done fairly frequently over the last 10 - 15 years since our coaches win and move up. I like Rob Ash and think he is a good coach, but if he leaves for some reason - the shoe will be on the other foot. The measure of a good program is how many Big Sky Championships you can string together as well as how many multiple year playoff appearances you make (and how many playoff games you win). Good luck to the Cats against Sam Houston State today - we are eager to see you in Missoula!

You know, I guess I thought this Bobcat Forum was for Bobcat fans to discuss Bobcat sports. I'm sure the UM Griz must have a forum somewhere, though I have never gone there because I am a Bobcat Fan and not a Griz fan.
