And Jefferson must have liked it the way he got up, pounded his chest for 18 minutes and did that little strut-walk that was beyond description.
(Oh, but incidentally, that WASN'T legal and cost his team 15 yards. A play only the kind of coach like Mike-I-Have-No-Control-Over-My-Progam-Krames could enjoy.
Touche, I actually can't argue with any of that.
As a Cat and not a Cat fan, I can

Somehow, someway, Cooper will get his whether it's by MSU or another team (everybody shares tapes, you know?). A long time ago we used to call that chicken sheit.
Your probably right, but I remember being really embarrased by Jefferson's antics after that hit. Why would he cock-off after getting absolutely crushed?......and dropping the ball-now if he would have held on?????
I agree with you LTown. I was embarrassed when we got a 15 yard penalty for taunting by Joyce after that vicious hit on a receiver in the first quarter. I love watching tape of Jim Brown. He intentionally got up slow after every play. He said that when he did that the other team never knew when he was really hurt. Imagine the record books if he hadn't retired at age 29. I digress. Hard hits are a part of football and I prefer to see both the hitter and hittee handle it with class rather than false bravado.

I don't know for sure. For some reason I thought it was Cooper. Dig the tapes out and see whether or not he used the forearm while you're at it

Oh yeah, that hit was brutal! I don't know if I will ever see one like that again. I actually almost felt sorry for that kid.

Is that one on The Line series or was it from another season, haven't watched that in awhile.

It's on The Line...I might have watched it once or twenty times! I felt bad for that poor punter. He was over on the sidelines right in front of us afterwards and he had no idea where he was at. They eventually got him to quit puking and took him to the hospital.

Elliot had an even bigger special teams hit the season before 'The Line' came out. If you have that hi-light vid it's right at the end, during the song "Duck and Run" by 3 Doors Down.
He absolutely destroys some poor guy sending him airborne, head over heels over head and flat onto his back. Total rag-doll-snot-bubble-Mack-Truck-going-full-speed-down-a-steep-grade type of hit, if you know what I mean.

Yeah yeah, and so will the whole DLine, Noodle-arm Bergquist, Lex, and the entire group of no-name/ no-speed recievers you guys have lining up over there in stankietown. We're well versed in the ass gas hype coming from over the hill.
It's alright tho... Bobby Daly will quietly be the best LB in the conference. For the second year in a row.
GD... quit living in a dreamworld. Everyone knows that the mighty Griz are "Deeper than they've ever been at EVERY position" and absolutely doing to dismamtle every team that dares to play them... the worst outcome being a 70 point thrashing of App State in the CHIPPER!!!!! It's a damn good thing they aren't playing Iowa THIS year. Iowa would get crushed because this is the most talented Griz football team in the history of the program, and that is a truly remarkable accomplishment considering they haven't actually
played a game yet. In fact I heard that Fullerton was considering just giving them a free pass through the Big Sky this year in order to avoid injuries to opposing teams due to the huge talent differential...
Sorry for the rant... I made the mistake of peeking at E-giz last week and was laughing my ba**s off. Once again... for the umpteenth year in a row... the giz are a lock for the NC because they have the biggest, fastest, strongest team in the history of the program.
Maybe Bobby will have a heart and display a randon act of kindness on Rob Ash and not run the score up on us too much.
P.S. If you want a good laugh, go read some of those posts... and what makes it extra funny is that they are serious.

Great time to be a BOBCAT!

I see far more people on eGriz saying that although this Griz team may be the deepest we've ever had (which I would argue is a correct statement), they've got a long way to go to prove they're the best.
But then, I'm not reading those statements through blue and cat-puke-colored yellow filters.
Carry on.

If there is one thing the griz will never be able to make fun of 'Cat fans about it's our respective teams' colors.
C'mon, now. Run on back to egriz and wax poetic about how the sun glistens off of Lex's bronzed, chiseled chest while he drinks at the water hose. Or how Colin Dow's ass looks more muscular and defined than it did last year... sheesh.

You mean the colors of the State of Montana? If Griz colors were so awesome why isn't our state flag brick and primer grey?

You're kidding right? Dark pink and grey? Hell, your old colors of brown, rust & yellow were better.

No I'm not kidding. I don't like the color combination, and your yellow is just hard to look at.
But then, I don't much care for a lot of paintings that sell for millions of dollars either.

Now you're just acting like a poopy pants whose not getting his way.
On our helmets we use gold paint with actual gold dust from MT gold mines. Pretty authentic, actually. Sure, hard to duplicate on fabric, but damn fine when it turns out.
I guess we could work on some sort of limp-wristed spirit colors that are cheaper and easier to produce, but we try to reject cheesiness here at MSU. Whereas UM seems to cheese it up as much as possible.
Someone heat this guy up a bottle.

What a crack-up. You're the only one whining. I'm simply stating I dislike your colors.
