You keep saying "it wouldn't have been any of us because we weren't dealing coke" What you call a fist fight was hardly "just a fist fight" and closer to murder then you think. Lebrum completely smashed this guy's jaw and he spent SIX hours in sugery and a very long time recoopeating. They said it could have killed him, in any case it changed his life dramatically and that is just the crime we know about. It could have been YOU, or maybe a friend of YOURS and IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH DRUGS. Maybe you were referring to Miller's fight down town at the bar, which also could have easliy turned into murder. He pulled out a loaded pistol. IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH DRUGS. Are you just naive or what? He also broke up the furniture at his girlfriends apartment in a fit of rage and she was lucky to get a call into police before he started on her. She could have been you, your sister, or maybe a friend, in anycase IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH DRUGS. That's all I'm trying to say, if you can't understand that, well, I'm not the one who is sounding like a jackass.

Ok you can keep trying to convince yourself that drugs weren't involved.

Now onto the issue of you bringing up something that the justice system has put away... Do you really have nothing better to do than make up stupid sh!t like you have been? Or is your head shoved so far up your ass that you can't even think straight?

Truth is, any of us could get hit by a bus crossing the street, a drunk driver on the road, a crane toppling into a building (if you live in NYC), a foul ball beaning one of us in the temple...I could go on and on. So, you can keep telling everybody on this board that any of us could have been hurt by Lebrum and/or Miller, but the fact of the matter is that we weren't. I knew Lebrum, played ball against him and I managed to avoid a broken jaw. I'm still a little bit confused why you are trying to convince the board that Lebrum and Miller aren't responsible for their actions.

All very valid points. If you wanna really look at it I spent 3 hours in surgery for my ACL and that could have killed me. (The Doctors say it so its true  ) He broke some furniture so he could have killed her! OH NO!! Watch out! Man ive broken a wall when i was mad....that brought me pretty close to killin my wife huh? Your argument makes no sence. Wright was killed because he was a COKE dealer. You cant get around that. HE WAS KILLED BECAUSE HE WAS A COKE DEALER. Get it into your thick skull.

Why would anyone want to defend Lebrum or Millers actions or try to minimize them. Yes, you could get hit by a bus, and if you compare that to Miller pulling out a loaded pistol, well thats one strange way of thinking. You didn't get a broken jaw playing against Lebrum, but someone else did and for no reason, there is a difference between an ACCIDENT and delibertely trying to seriously hurt or kill someone. In prison Miller was all ready in trouble for holdling the doors shut while another inmate was being beaten up. What a guy. I guess you'd do the same. You want to play ball with them, thats up to you, I don't want them representing my school. You"re comparing apples and oranges. You are all talking without knowing the facts.. How many of you have read any of the legal documents. Read Lebrums full statement, it's pretty freakin scary. Anyway, you certainly have a right to your opinion, i'm glad least msu realized they needed to make some big changes in their athletic system, had it been up to you guys, who knows. just hope you aren't walking the same street lebrum is late at night when he gets out, but then your not worried. maybe he'll move next door to you, date your sister,....... he's an ok guy right?

As for Wright, yes, he was killed because he got into something he shouldn't have and we had two people in the community ready to kidnap
beat and shoot him ten times because they wanted some money. I think the rest of us may have been satisfied had he gotten the punishement he deserved under the law.

you must have a warped brain - or you are new. Either way nobody is defending Labrum or Miller - both are P.O.S human pondscum who deserve nothing short of the death penalty - but i digress, i suggest you read bobcat nation before you start accusing anyone of defending your former crack dealer

My preference is that we stop discussing this terrible event until one of the two guilty parties is up for parole.

just my two cents

Old Wise One, good to know someone is interested in the facts. His statement is on record at the Law and Justice Center in Bozeman. For some of the rest of you, the reason we are dicussing this is because as I said intially, my comment was supposed to go the threads re: the sentencing and murder but i clicked new topic by mistake and i got so many dumb ass replys i felt i needed to respond. In any case BBB, I'm sure you're right, there are many more coke dealers in Bozeman, but all I want to know is "Where's the liquor store"? Damm, you've got a kid don't you? GROW UP!

Not to hijack the thread, but when I was kid, my folks bought my brother and I a couple goldfish in a bowl. After a few days one of them died- being older than him I told him it was his, ...........................he cried.

I always felt bad about that.

Nah, that didn't happen, I'm just making sh!t up. Sorry

Hell's ... FYI, see above.

We as mods are very, very hesitant to delete anything unless it's really abusive. Merely annoying doesn't merit deletion.

It's pretty easy to ignore here in smack ... which isn't a bad thing to do.
