The Big Sky Conference has always rewarded all teams that ties for the top conference spot with a championship. You can argue all you want with that position if you wish. But please do it with the BSC Commissioner, not with Griz fans who rightly call their team "Big Sky Champions". Because they are.

Actually, if my memory serves me correctly -- I think if you look back at a lot of the recent years that Cats won co-championships, you'll find that in most (or maybe all) of those years, there were three teams tied for the championships, so there truly was no clear-cut winner between the three (because it was always a scenario where Team A beat Team B, Team B beat Team C, and Team C beat Team A). In those cases, I think awarding co-championships makes perfect sense, because any method you use to choose between the three is completely arbitrary anyway.

In cases like this year -- I agree that it would be logical to award Weber the championship; however, the rules are what they are, and thus, the Griz are technically co-champions. I honestly don't care, because at this point, the only thing I really get excited about are national titles, so I'm more focused on the playoff picture. However, to all the Cat fans who are making a big deal about the "co-champions" thing -- I think if you're honest with yourselves, you'll have to admit that if the Cats were in this position, you'd be celebrating your "co-championship" just the same.
