Why can't you just accept a loss from the CATS? Just admit that the CATS are a better team than the griz. If you watched the game, you would have realized that you have no shot at the NC. However, with that said I still do hope the griz play well in the playoffs. When I am not cheering for the CATS I cheer for Montana players.

If the kittys are a better team they wouldn't be finished for the year!
Guess that head to head matchup on Saturday isn't indicative of anything.

It's been rehashed ad nauseum that scheduling OSU in lieu of a high school team like Ft. Lewis would have propelled us into post season. The same goes for our missing the post season due to losses as Cal Poly and PSU.

You are beyond idiotic if you truly believe the griz are better because they are in the playoffs and we aren't.

A little humility might be in order considering the automatic bid went to EWU, which beat both Montana teams. This is sounding like a fight between Cinderella's ugly stepsisters. State got redemption by beating the Griz soundly a week after EWU destroyed them, and and the Griz got some redemption by recovering from a loss to EWU at home. After the way the two teams treated each other on the field after Saturday's game, with Kramer consoling Spencer and Hauck congratulating Lulay, and the teams sharing the moment with honor, all I can say for certain is that they are far "better" than their fans.

While I agree with your sentiment, I very much doubt that would be the overall theme of the day had the result been reversed

azfincter says what?.....exactly. Now that you've pulled your head out, there are two things the Griz are holding onto for their playoff birth, past success and a packed venue. If they didn't have either of those two things, they'd be eating turkey

Unfortunately, your win vs the Hellgate JV doesn't count toward the record, making you 7-3 in the eyes of NCAA. I know you went to a liberal arts school, but that is the same seven wins MSU has...here endeth the lesson

Serious question -

Was NDSU a I-AA when you scheduled them?

Yes, because we are playing in Fargo in 2007. You don't do a home and home with a D-II.

I'm sure the Griz players are probably glad you aren't actually going to be playing in the game, considering your mom probably won't let you leave the basement until you and your buddies clean up your D&D party mess

Idiot , explain why the Griz loss to Oregan kept them IN the playoffs?
You fuc*ing dumbass, where did I say the loss to Oregon had anything to do with it.

Now break out your GED level reading acumen, reread what I posted, then STFU!

Note: there wasn't a team on MSU's schedule that was the equivalent of Ekalaka High School. In Ft Lewis High, there was

How hard is that to understand.

Idiot.

Smacking us for losing to a IA team, when only about 2-3 IAA teams beat a IA every year out of the 50 or so times they play.

Someone is still bitter?

Congratulations to the Bobcats on their season and for throughly manhandling the Griz on Saturday. With that said, I am unable to understand why Lifeloyal and several other posters claim the Griz playing Ft. Lewis has anything to do with the Bobcat's playoff situation. Both teams played 11 games this year, with 6 at home and 5 on the road. With 7 conference games each (UM 3 at home and 4 away, & MSU 4 at home and 3 away), both teams had 4 non-conference games:

Montana______________________MSU

Oregon (A)___________________Oklahoma State (A)
S. Dak St. (H)________________ N. Dak St. (H)
Cal Poly (H)__________________Cal Poly (A)
Ft. Lewis (H)__________________SFA (H)

There is no way MSU is going to travel to Ft. Lewis so, unless Lifeloyal is claiming the Cat's should have scheduled 7 home games, I don't see how MSU playing OSU is in any way analagous to the Griz playing Ft Lewis. Rather, the Ft Lewis game the Griz played should be compared with either of MSU's non-conference home games against NDSU or SFA, both of which were great wins for MSU this year.

IMO the Cat's inability to win on the road this year, especially at PSU, is what kept them out of the playoffs. The Cats showed all year long that when they were on their game there is no one better, but they also showed they were inconsistent in their losses.

Again congratulations to the Cats for the thumping they put on the Griz last Saturday and another year of bragging rights!

Short version: If the kittens were a playoff Caliber team, they'd be in the playoffs!

So,as a bobkitten, you can be proud of you team. you have a winning record, you can claim, as usual that you are the undisputed BSC champs, because you beat the Griz! (Which is all that really matter to a kitten anyway!)
Who, in their right mind, would want to wade though that muddy pasture to see a December Football game anyway? I'm still scraping the cow sh!t off my boots!
You wore boots this time? Good job, mommy was proud of you. The rest of us were at the game. Cats 16 griz 6
