First of all, Cal Poly wholloped us on their home field, unlike your loss to them. And second, with the Cats having a bye weekend when the Jizz play Cal Poly the first time, I traveled to Missoula to watch. And Cal Poly was walking all over you until a bad Mustang fumble deep in their own end of the field in the middle of the third quarter turned that game around. You were lucky to pull out a W in that game.

And the smack about your team making the playoffs is even weaker considering how many times you've made the playoffs, and even the title game for that matter, only to walk away with just two titles. The way you talk, you'd think you win it every year. I don't think Atlanta Braves fans care to brag about how many years they have won the NL East and went to the playoffs only to win 1 World Series. Griz = can't seal the deal. You need some football Viagra.

I take solice in the fact that when we lost to Poly they had their full roster, including a 3 year starter at QB, and we played them at your place. You guys lost on your home field to a 4 game starter at QB.

That, and scoreboard.

It's those same Griz fans that talked up how they were going to beat up on Oregon last year and then when Oregon was beating them down, the Griz fans turned whiney and said all Oregon fans were being mean/rude to them :) That was classic EGRIZ last year after that game :)

Yeah, but even the Griz have won something so the comparison to Buffalo doesn't quite fit. The Braves are the only team I can think of off the top of my head that have had so much regular season success and only one title to show for it. Maybe the Utah Jazz, but even they haven't won anything.

Cats beat the Griz. Griz get to playoffs, Cat's don't. Griz lose in Playoffs. Repeat 10,000 times on BN.

We take this circle every day on here, several times a day...gettin' old, IMHO.

How'd your hoop team do this year? I mean, afterall, the last season anyone cared about was BB. FB was an eternity ago. ](*,)

Oh you mean Griz fans care about basketball now? Seems just a few years back I would talk to Griz fans and they would say "Who cares about basketball". Did something change? I wonder what that is? Hmmmm :)

I wouldn't take solice in that. Cal Poly's 3 year starter you speak so highly of had 7 wins in his career against Big Sky teams, with 6 of those wins coming against Sacramento State and the Cats, who he beat 3 times each. He lost the last game of his career to the Griz who had a freshman QB in his second start. Cal Poly's 4 game starter had already beaten Eastern Washington and ISU when he beat the Griz, making him 3-0 against the Big Sky in his short career.

Comparing the Griz to the Braves because they don't win championships is laughable. The Griz have the third most NCs in I-AA history. Now, you could compare them to the Cardinals or the Red Sox and be accurate.

BTW, I bet if you asked, every Braves player would take losing in the playoffs over not making the playoffs.

2 NC's is 3rd?

So that means the Cats are tied for 4th right?

Take it easy on bearBAC. We are witnessing evolution in progress. Two posts of his in a row, without pictures. Next thing you know, he may start walking upright.
