Unfortunately your theory plops into the toilet when one realizes that there is only one third quarter per game. Unfortunately for the Griz, they don't even come close to averaging 10 points per the other three quarters.
Lets ditch the numerical formulas and get straight to the real deal. The Griz are going to lose (probably in a blowout) because:
A. They just aren't as talented as the Cats. Not at one position. The Cats are faster, stronger, more skilled and just plain meaner across the board.
B. Thanks to the mindset of Kramer, the Cats don't buy into the Griz mystique like the rest of the conference still does. We know they're a tissue-paper tiger, extremely soft and ready to be shredded. This has been the case for years.
C. The Griz will be without their biggest weapon, dumb luck, as the Cats will play mistake-free ball on Saturday, thus eliminating luck from the equation.
Sure, C is a wildcard hypothetical, but A and B are firmly grounded in the present reality.

Excuse me

Okay, I'm alright. He he.
I will have to remember to bump this after the game.
Aside to Gavin.....tabasco makes the crow quite palatable.
