One thing about it, he's better than Doug Fullerton (BSC Commish and former MSU AD). He's the one that kowtowed to the West Coast schools when the BSC was initially considering inviting NDSU and SDSU to join. Had he not been worried about "the big media markets" of Sacramento and Portland (which they aren't cuz no one cares about the Hornets or the Vikings), this entire situation would not have happened.

NDSU should and will avoid scheduling any and all big sky teams for the years to come, its painfully obvious that the big fluffy has once again lived up to his name.

If one were to assume that all of the information needed to make these decisions was available four years ago, and if one also assumes that nothing had changed over the course of the last year (much less the last four years) in terms of counterparties, budgets, etc., then your post would be true.

Of course, that's not how things work here in this place we call "reality."
