Your right, if he was a UM grad he would be a checkout clerk.

I made sure the cut up hats were on his desk with a big note that sad "if you sell this crap i won't shop here" To be honest i was probably the only one that bought. Because there were alot of them just sitting there. They had a stench to them. the banjos are playing and the sheep are calling. You better get off the net. Go Bengals
Haha right. THe only time I would ever and did ever stop in Pocafello was to take a piss at your Perkins. What a desolate $hit hole, and, judging by the amount of apparel ISU has locally, the BenGALS don't do much to cheer these people up.

Am I the only one who sees the irony here? People are smacking the Griz because their wear sells in other BSC towns. That just cracks me up

Keep smacking away. We couldn't buy this kind of positive publicity (not that the Griz need it).

this wasnt the intent of my original post.........and i didnt originally have this in the smack area. what i was trying to figure out was why bozeman buisness' dont back the cats more than they do. I just think its time for the town to get behind their team and show a little pride in the cats.

Its an obvious fact that UM has marketed their logo better than any BSC school, that isnt what i was debating at all. Im sure UM has put more time and money into the effort as well, after all, it takes money to make money. And I see nothing wrong with that either, its working for the griz. I just wish the cats would be better supported in Bozeman.

Interesting the first city you chose was Deer Lodge.

It's been a pleasure...look forward to seeing you at eGriz.

Just FYI though -- the football-related smack will sound a lot less hollow if your team doesn't go 2-9 again this year. ;)

The real reason jizz stuff is at Wal-Mart is simply because it's a natural match.

jizz/Wal-mart. See? It's a natural match. A lot like Forrest and Jenny. Pinching pennies = Wal-Mart. Not that tough.

The Bobcats command a premium. Accordingly, you only see Cats gear at places where people other than the scourge of society shop. Bobcats gear is not a commodity that is obtained for the lowest price.

Cats fans are light years ahead of the jizz in this regard. It's like Schopenhaur said (noted German philospher... given his stature as one of history's greatest philosophers it's understandable two standard deviations of jizz fans have never heard of him), Every truth passes through three phases before it is recognized. In the first it is ridiculed; in the second it is opposed; in the third it is regard as self evident.

c'mon man -- you can't wax philosophic in the same sentence you refer to the Griz as the "jizz." That's just poor form. It's kind of like visiting the home of an elder statesman, and after spending two hours behaving yourself and drinking tea and eating crumpets, suddenly pointing at the picture of his hottie 21-year-old granddaughter and asking "who's THAT hot piece of @ss??"

You can if you're in the smack thread. As if you've still heard of Schopenhauer (you probably haven't). You'd be hard pressed to find where I refer to you's guys as jizz outside of the smack thread. But, whatever. More power to you!

Grizlaw, be sure to stop by Hallmark and get that "Hang in there!" poster you've been dying to get on Friday on your way home from Jeans Day.

Oh Christ, I was just giving you a bad time; I actually thought your post was funny. Have a beer a something...

And BTW, I took almost enough philosophy courses at UM to earn a degree in that subject (though it wasn't my major), so yes, I am familiar with Schopenhauer's work. You're obviously very proud of yourself for having heard of him as well (seeing as how you've implied twice on this thread that you are superior to us "jizz" fans for having heard of him), so...good for you, I guess.

Now...go get yourself that beer, and hopefully you'll be in a better mood tomorrow, m'kay?

So obviously you guys have a kiosk at the "Montana State" Pen?

I see where your coming from now that you mention "natural matches."

Look, I normally don't razz people for spelling. But if you're going to quote someone and then rip Griz fans for allegedly not knowing who it is, at least spell his name correctly. It's "Schopenhauer". And he was actually Polish, I believe.

He was born in Poland, but his parents were both German, and his family moved back to Germany when he was a child.
