I never said we own the conference, I was just sick of hearing that we did not belong in the conference. If you are going to talk like that, your team better beat ours.
Honestly. The Cats don't have to beat you for us to know that your team sucks. We had ONE bad day. What's your excuse?

Yup, one season removed from a quarterfinal playoff appearance.

Men's BBall finished 8-8 after being picked to finish last, if I believe, under a first year head coach.

And our women's team had the 11th best turnaround in the country last year.

Trying to gain credibility by putting Swilly in your corner is akin to asking Rosie O'Donnell how to get skinny and pick up men.

You are right, we do have trouble with bad football teams.

I don't care if you beat the Griz in Missoula... two total wins in two years in our league is horrendous. Someone was bound to slip up and lose to you, and unfortunately it was us.

And this topic is not 100% football specific either. You went 4-24 in basketball last year, with 2 wins in conference. Hell, let's just get a total W/L of the three major sports, football, men's and women's basketball.

Football 2-18 (.111%)
Men's BBall 4-24 (.167%)
Women's BBall 5-24 (.208%)

For a combined:
11-66 (.167%)

If you can't understand why some folk were upset or didn't think you belonged, I think that should be sufficient evidence as to why they felt that way.
We also had about 8 games in men's basketball that we lost by a single basket. Including games against Colorado and Oregon State.
Last time I checked, a loss was a loss whether it was by one point or a hundred.

I agree but my point is that our mens team isn't as bad as their record seems. Plus, but the mens and womens were under new head coaches for what that's worth.

Not much considering our men's team was under a new coach as well. Unless you truly think that is a valid excuse and then I guess we can just use that to explain why we lost last Saturday.

I didn't use it as an excuse but it probably was a factor. Some players might not have adjusted as well to our new coach as your players adjusted to your new coach.
