The last thing that I am going to say is that if UNC does not belong in the conference, what does it say about the kitties?

The Cats don't "always" suck and always suck at everything. Your point is irrelevant. And your last sentence is complete BS to take your own words. GTFO.jagur1 wrote:I'M calling BS, if a Griz fan said that about a cat win.......
Time to face the facts MSU sports is just barely one step up from UNC sports.

Just when I thought you were semi intelligent. One step up? You might hate the Cats but you can't really mean that.jagur1 wrote:I'M calling BS, if a Griz fan said that about a cat win.......

Yup, one season removed from a quarterfinal playoff appearance.jagur1 wrote:I'M calling BS, if a Griz fan said that about a cat win.......

Men's BBall finished 8-8 after being picked to finish last, if I believe, under a first year head coach.
And our women's team had the 11th best turnaround in the country last year.
=\
Our men's basketball team won as many games last year as all three of the mentioned sports for UNC combined.

I agree but my point is that our mens team isn't as bad as their record seems. Plus, but the mens and womens were under new head coaches for what that's worth.Old Skool Cat wrote:Last time I checked, a loss was a loss whether it was by one point or a hundred.GoBears wrote:We also had about 8 games in men's basketball that we lost by a single basket. I don't care if you beat the Griz in Missoula... two total wins in two years in our league is horrendous. Someone was bound to slip up and lose to you, and unfortunately it was us.
And this topic is not 100% football specific either. You went 4-24 in basketball last year, with 2 wins in conference. Hell, let's just get a total W/L of the three major sports, football, men's and women's basketball.
Football 2-18 (.111%)
Men's BBall 4-24 (.167%)
Women's BBall 5-24 (.208%)
For a combined:
11-66 (.167%)
If you can't understand why some folk were upset or didn't think you belonged, I think that should be sufficient evidence as to why they felt that way.

Not much considering our men's team was under a new coach as well. Unless you truly think that is a valid excuse and then I guess we can just use that to explain why we lost last Saturday.GoBears wrote:I agree but my point is that our mens team isn't as bad as their record seems.
