You should be much more concerned about the 50% of cat fans who are bandwagon fans.
And we can speculate that , oh, say 75% of griz fans are bandwagon. You could have a lot to be concerned about was well.
We can speculate about the number of GRIZ bandwagon fans but we know the percentage is about 50% for cat fans as thats the increase in the number of fans the past few years.
Wow, for you to even seriously speculate on such a ridiculous topic makes me really question your intelligence.

Since you're into debating such nonsense, then play with some numbers from when Dornblaser Stadium was taken out in favor of Wa-griz stadium. What were the attendance numbers then versus now? When you come to that answer, let me know what you get.
Well, what we know for sure is that over the past 15 years, every expansion has led to a sold out stadium for the GRIZ. SO either we have pent up demand for diehard GRIZ fans, or we have pent up demand for "bandwagon" fans like you have as msu. Hard to say. Now if the GRIZ football team was to fall as low as the cats, we could find out just how many are true fans or "bandwagon" fans like the majority of yours. Unfortunately for the cats, that’s not likely to happen any time soon.

So the only known facts are 1. roughly 50% of msu fans are bandwagon fans and 2. the GRIZ continue to sell out their stadium.

I hate to break it to you, but you're going to need rehab for all the drugs you're mixing into your Kool-aid.

Does UM all of a sudden have a considerably larger student enrollment and larger number of alumni thus necessitating the need for a stadium with 24K+?

I love what you account for and classify as "known facts". The only correct part is that the griz do sell out their stadium.

The rest I'll leave up to you for your thoughts that you can interpret as "known facts".

???What??? We absolutely have the fan base that is necessitating a stadium that will seat 25,500+. We actually need a stadium that seats 28,000 + right now.

Model it after Michigan's stadium - it holds 110,000 people and is really tall. Build WGS tall enough to finish everyone off who jumps off the top row after a .500 season. We don't want any walking "wounded". The echo's will sound cool when the place is empty and a game between UM and Hellgate is being played.

p.s. FTG

Whatever you do, don't have the T be lower case, because that means something like "F*ck your mother" in German... I think. (FtG - real bad)

I think it's code for penis envy. It's a long story.
