Hell's ... FYI, see above.
We as mods are very, very hesitant to delete anything unless it's really abusive. Merely annoying doesn't merit deletion.
It's pretty easy to ignore here in smack ... which isn't a bad thing to do.
Can stupid and self serving = "abusive".....I think so!
I think Mr. T is abusing common sense!

This isn't worth discussing with people who obviously have no interest in the facts and just like to make stupid-a remarks. Unfortunately it took a terrible tragedy and a lot of bad publicity to make MSU realize they needed to make some big changes in their athletic progam, but they finally did. I pity the poor fools on this site who haven't figured that out yet. Maybe one day you'll realize it only makes you sound idiotic to comment without knowing what you're talking about. good luck and goodbye.

Later
I think you don't get it. Sleeping in until 6 won't get many people very far in life, especially if they want to play on Sunday.

Before you go, I wonder...
Where were you before the murder? Your timing renders your statements totally insignificant. That is the point that everyone has been trying to make.
You show up on here, more than a year after the fact, sporting this "I told you so" attitude when nobody had even heard of your ass until two weeks ago.
If YOU couldn't get your pal Wright to turn his life in a positive direction when it mattered most, then perhaps YOU should worry about what YOU coula-woulda-shoulda done differently.
I find it silly that you think us boosters/fans/alumni should've somehow taken a stand and stopped this from happening, even though we have very little one on one contact with the football players. On the other side of the coin, you couldn't or didn't bother to persuade a friend of yours to not get involved in dealing crack. Wow, buddy... awfully self-rigeous of you.

Once again the facts - Wright did sell cocaine for a matter of months, not crack, there is a difference. I didn't say fans should have taken a stand before, I'm talking about now. All I ever tried to say is that my friend was a good guy who made a lousy mistake for a short time in the last year of his life and wanted out. Can't we all agree it was a good think MSU finally made some changes in a program that had some real flaws. Wright was wrong in what he did, but he wasn't born selling drugs, he had a life before that and did a lot of good for a lot of people.
Just because I take up for friend I'm immediately told I take drugs and looking for a dealer. Those are the stupid a comments i'm talking about.
Wright was not out selling to young kids or trying to recruit anyone else to do what he was doing. Seriously, I'm just wondering, do any of you think the people buying have any responsiblity for what they were doing, or do you look at it as they were innocents who sort of had cocaine shoved down their throats?I know for a fact the ones I knew had been partying this way long before Wright came into the picture. They all were making mistakes. I guess I can't help but think if Miller and Lebrum weren't in Bozeman Wright would have had the chance to turn it around so it pisses me off that MSU gave two people, who I beleive didn't deserve it, full scholarships. No murders in bozeman since they've been put away, that must mean something cause i know cocaine is still be ing bought and sold. ok, i know I said i'm gone,
i hope this time for good. everyone take care, hurt, but no bad feelings here.

navyT wrote:this was supposed to be under the topic of "blaming msu for murder" thats all. just registered. anyway, thats why it's here, but as far as rehashing, i think murder in bozeman is worth thinking about and remembering and making sure the same mistakes arent made again. with monsters like those two it could have been any of us, their previous vicitms had nothing to do with drugs, etc. ok, nough said
So now you're backing up and changing your story? Dude, before you ramble on for 3 pages worth of thread, make up your mind and stick to your story. At least admit you were wrong and admit that you brought up something that was in and should be kept in the past.
I'm not sad in the least to see you go, don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out.

Not to nitpick, but this is what WebMD says about the relationship between Crack and Cocaine - they are derived form the same substance...:
Crack is extracted from coke using baking soda and heat—a relatively safe method compared with the ether technique. The waxy base becomes rocks of cocaine, ready to be sold in vials. This rock cocaine is also easy to smoke, the most common form of use in the streets. Cocaine sulfate is also available as coca paste known as basuco, bazooka, piticin, pistol, pitillos, or tocos and is widely smoked in South America. Because the freebase is resistant to destruction by heat, it can be smoked either in cigarettes, including marijuana cigarettes, or in "coke pipes." Smoking the freebase produces a more powerful effect more rapidly, but it is also more dangerous because the safe dose can easily be exceeded. A user describes the comparison: "Snorting coke is like driving 50 miles per hour. Smoking crack is like driving 150 miles per hour without brakes!"

I think the point he is making is that as a Cocaine dealer he was a much classier, sophisticate drug dealer than your every day low class crack dealer.
There is a big difference in the drug dealer world, and they get real pissy if you mess it up.

Then stop replying to people. And now that I am in I will say this. Lebrum was kicked off the Football Team the SECOND he was in trouble, if not sooner. Miller came to bozeman from a great family and had no issues until AFTER he was off the team. I am not sticking up for either one of these guys...I hope they rot in that jail.
