How does msu get to 104% of capacity? Is it through temporary bleachers?

Really? Seriously? Are the dark pink blinders that thick?

Tell you what, hop on a plane and come visit me (I'll even let you stay with me...okay, I'll let you stay in the shed in the back yard). We can take a Saturday drive up the mountain, it'll be great. Then, while they're cramming 31k into Kidd Brewer, you can tell me ALL about how it gets no bigger in FCS than WaGriz.

Tell you what. First, we weren't talking attendance. We were talking facility size and capacity. Take a drive up to the mountains. It'll be great. When you get there, count seats (assuming you can count). You'll find capacity considerably less than Wa-Griz. Yes, they cram a ton of people in there that stand along the track, sit in the mud, etc. But those people don't have seats. And if you really believe that Kid Brewer is anywhere near the facility Wa-Griz is, you're insane.
However, the most visible element of the crown jewel of ASU athletics’ $50 million facilities enhancement campaign is the addition of more than 5,000 new seats, which will bring capacity to approximately 22,000 by 2009.

HB, you're truly a douche. When BN has nothing going on- which is alot- you have to come over to Egriz and smear your feline feces everywhere. You're like a homeless person, only worse- you have a home, there's just no one there. Or no one interesting anyway.

So do yourself a favor: Get a MySpace page; decorate it with every-and-any-thing Miley Cyrus; solicit minors for your own selfish purposes; find a nice taut rope.

Clear something up for me, Einstein. Where, exactly, in your first post do you mention seats? You said it "gets no bigger in FCS". I take that to mean attendance/atmosphere. If you want to talk seats, fine, you have me there. We all know that 25k fans in seats can make a ton more noise than 30k, just because 8k of those 30k are standing. Standing fans are silent fans, right? The seats make all the difference. =D^

Average home attendance of 29,507 vs. 25,016 (doesn't that mean ASU draws almost 20% more than the mighty Griz?). 134% of capacity vs. 99% of capacity (the link provided by LTown Cat didn't take into account the new capacity of KBS, so the 177% is incorrect). Total home attendance of 147,533 vs. 125,080. You're right, WaGriz is CLEARLY the winner. Face it, math major, the race isn't even a close one. Up until last year, I would have agreed with you. Now, now so much. If you think that WaGriz is so superior to KBS since this year's renovations in Boone, so don't have a damn clue what you're talking about (Cat fans, they actually have REAL bathrooms on the visitor side now! Unlike the playoffs a couple years ago...). Have you been to both this season? Hell, have you EVER been to KBS?

I know, it's tough to admit when you're no longer the biggest kid on the FCS block. Buck up, lil' trooper! Have some hot cocoa (maybe mommy will even put marshmallows in it for you), cuddle up with your binky and read your dog-eared copy of Everyone Poops. It'll make you feel better...really. Until next Saturday when Desin, Daly & Co. wear your boys out.

Anyone half way associated with FCS football knows that Wa Griz is the best facility in the game. If you can't acknowledge that, you obviously need to take the puke yellow and blue blinders off.

Incidentally, the last numbers I saw for 2008 showed the Griz leading the nation in attendance. So if you want to talk attendance, we can happily do that as well.

Kid Brewer is a nice facility. But with a track around it, and without it being enclosed, it has has LOOONNGGGGG way to go to get into the Wa Griz neighborhood.

Excellent idea, let's do that through yesterday:

UM
vs. SUU: 25,056
vs. Davis: 25,209
vs. Central Washington: 25,326
vs. Sac State: 25,486
vs. NAU: 24,003
vs. ISU: 23,527
TOTAL: 148,607

ASU
vs. Jacksonville: 30,718
vs. Presbyterian: 28,405
vs. Citadel: 29,631
vs. Furman: 27,848
vs. Wofford: 30,931
vs. Elon: 24,831
TOTAL: 172,364

UM Average: 24,768
ASU Average: 28,727

Pretty simple math, isn't it? Even for a Grizzly.

ASU, like Bobcat Stadium, has tons of room to expand. How many more gray lego blocks can they stack onto WaGriz? Like I said before, I would have agreed 100% with you last year. It's a new day, though. Other facilities are catching up to WaGriz...and some are passing it. Soon we won't have to deal with 100 pictures of it on AGS every time we turn around, because it will be old news. Adios, recruiting advantage due to facility superiority. Dang, the Cats are recruiting as well as, if not better than, the Griz in Montana today. What's going to happen when their facilities are as just as good as UM's? #-o

Looks to me like a whhhhoooooolllllle lot of people have grass stains on their assess after leaving Kid Brewer.

Even AppStateCoulson acknowledges that Wa-Griz is the finest facility at our level. Only cat fans who have nothing left but to denigrate their rivals' facility refuse to agree. So typical. Sad. But typical.
