Having just returned to the state of Montana and being a longtime football fan, I was frustrated to hear some of the comments at this gatheing. Since there team got the s*&^ kicked out of them yesterday, they comment that they hope Sam Houston beats the crap out of the Griz. I don't get their perspective. Montana Fans shoud be pulling for a Montana team that is still in the tournament. Don't be so bitter and close minded. There are More Montana kids on the Griz than Sam Houston. You want to root for Sam Houston, Move your butt to Texas. OH yea, The Cats have probably the 2nd best Bowl Championship facility in the Country and obviously the 2nd best college football team in the state Of Montana.

You know, I agree with what you say. I have to say that I have the utmost respect for Phlugrad. (Did I spell it right??) He is absolutely a class act. The former UM coach was a classless, arrogant jerk, no other way to say it.

But here is my problem. It is very difficult to pull for the Griz given the treatment I have been subjectedo several times in Bobcat Stadium. I've never been to Missoula, and can only imagine what that is like. I'm sure that Bobcat fans have done the same thing. But this year, I had some Griz fans right behind me who were so obnoxious, I had to simply say a prayer to myself to keep from turning around and smashing the guy's teeth in.

I am all about class and sportsmanship. I like to win AND lose with class. All I know is, if I attended a game in Missoula and I was sitting in the Griz section, I would certainly cheer for the Bobcats, but I would NOT try my best to behave like jerks. The Griz have enough fans, they don't need me as well to pull for them.

And by the way, don't the Griz have a sports forum?? I assume they do, though I have never been to it. The reason I have never tried to go there is because I am a Bobcat fan and I like to read and discuss Bobcat sports. If I was a Griz fan, I would go there and discuss on that blog. I have never understood why several Griz fans love to come to the Bobcat sports page to discuss. Kind of weird if you ask me.

Yes. There's a Griz forum. And yes, we all post on it as well.

But see, we're sports fans, so we visit a number of different sites. I'm a huge fan of Thai food. But I also eat out at other restaurants.

But if you're really a strong believer that fans of teams other than the board's team shouldn't visit that board, would you kindly tell the roughly 200 cat fans that visit eGriz on a daily basis.

We're all here 'cause we ain't all there.

Indeed, I would tell the 200 Cat fans who are spending time on the Griz blog to "get a life." Same with you. You must have too much time on your hands if you spend time on BOTH places. JMHO. And by the way, I am sure that not all Griz fans behave like the guys who were sitting behind me in Bobcat Stadium. I saw several who were obviously sitting with family members enjoying the game. I guess it is too bad that there are always a few jerks who spoil it for the rest of us.

Never mistake activity for accomplishment.
