On a more serious note, the reason the Bobcat tailgates are a little more rowdy than at Wash Griz Stadium is due to an overwhelming increase of tailgaters who smoke pot!! That makes sense doesn't it? Smoke a joint... then they're all relaxed and philosophical... and believe that we're all brothers and sisters united as one!! Compared to the majority of tailgaters in Bozeman who just drink alcohol.

Here's what needs to be done... So we can get all the whiners to quit their b----ing... Have a change in game day policy in our conference, that says that each school must have a certain area for all visiting teams/fans to park, and tailgate. This would be an area full of security, etc... MAYBE the North parking lot ACROSS the street from our stadium could block off a section just for this... then IF Grizzly fans, or Eagle fans or WHOEVER chooses to walk through or tailgate in a Bobcat section, they're taking their own risk.

If they don't want to have mud thrown on them, maybe they shouldn't pick it up and be the first to throw it! Or, if they take offense to the bad language, they shouldn't be wearing a shirt that says "Eat S#@* Bobcats Go Griz Go".

It's a two sided street Grizzlies, why don't you learn how to stay on your side of the street... if you start to go over the yellow line, you're just asking for trouble!

Well when it comes down to it, most of what gets discussed on here really has nothing to do with any of us. If I only commented on things that directly affected me, I probably wouldn't post much.

I didn't really have any specific motivation in commenting on this, other than just pointing it out. I just thought some of what was being said was below the belt, and I don't like seeing people get made fun of unfairly. She wrote a letter that almost no one agrees with (including me and probably most other Griz fans), and she definitely deserves whatever criticism her words draw, but making fun of how she looks is crossing a different line. That's all.

It has Champ next to a Wheel of Fortune Board and says.

H_Y GR_ZZL__S, G_ F_CK Y__RS_LV_S. And then asks, would you like to buy a vowel? CLASSIC!

I heard about that, but never saw it...bummer that's one of the best! Those darn Great Falls boosters have great shirts....the MSU ad club should get them their shirt next year....

I was thinking about writing a letter complaining about MSU student behavior as well, based on what I saw on TV. First what was with the dork who stood against the rail with a sports coat on, breaking up the shirtless people with GOCATS painted on their chest? And why kind of self-respecting, drunk shirtless body painted college student would let this dork break up your message?

Also what is with the chick who wears a sports bra with the body paint? Good God woman, let those boobies breathe. You're wearing body paint, just paint em up.

I am guessing the Griz fans have never made anti-Bobcat shirts or said anything negatively about the Cats.

I am happy to see that she won't be coming back to Bozeman. If you can't stand the heat.....
She's not a bandwagon fan, I know that, from 1996 - 1999 she worked in the office I work in RE/MAX Realty Consultants, LLC, she's now at Gillespie. She's also been president of the Missoula County Assiciation of Realtors, and I believe this year she's president (or pres-elect) of the Montana Assoc. of Realtors.

She's a good lady, a hard worker, and I'm willing to bet she's been a Griz fan for well over a decade, at least.

Also from reading through this post the only thing that jumps out to me is that many of the cat shirts & wrist bands and what not hinted to saying f*ck the Griz, or go f*ck your self, basically something that implied telling the Griz to f*ck off or something. Now I know I've seen people saying FTC as well, but this year the only Brawl stuff I saw was something implying the Griz were these big powerful animals, while the cats were these innocent little kittens, nothing involving profanity. From what I've read on this board it seems like all the cat stuff was profane (because it's all you've talked about). I don't know, I see her argument there, if it's true, just a bunch of profanity, I'd be pissed if I had my son around that as well.

Once again, I'm going off what I've read and heard. I didn't go to the game, and yes I know that Griz fans do it too, it's just that around town I didn't see any profane stuff about the cats last week, and all I've heard about on this board is the FTG stuff.

Wierd, you didn't see profane shirts around town? NO DOUBT!! Cat and Griz fans both make profane shirts and both wear them TO THE GAME. It is a rivalry, this will happen. Nobody is wearing these shirt around town all week. Give me a break!

Did you see any FTC shirts on Griz fans at the game? Or telling the Cats to go F--- themselfs, or wrist bands that hinted the same? I don't know b/c I wasn't there, but it seems most posters on this thread are damn pround about all of their clothes & wristbands that used F8ck and Griz in the same scentence, thats all.

No, but were the shirts there last year in Missoula and will the UM students be wearing them in Missoula next year? Yes.

It happens both places and it will continue that way.

ReMax

WHY IN GOD'S NAME IS IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR YOU griz fans TO ADMIT THAT THE SAME CRAP HAPPENS IN BOTH PLACES???

Are you truly naive? Or is it simply that your grizblindness doesn't allow you to see it or accept it?

I swear to God next year I'm going to take a film crew with me and document EVERYTHING that happens in Missoula so you blind folks from dUMb will simply STFU about this issue.

I don't undestand why some Griz fans get upset when they see a shirt that says Go F*ck Yourself. I just look at it as an invitation that needs to be taken advantage of.

Yes, but then in later posts you are CLEARLY trying to "spin" that what happens in Bozeman is worse or more extreme.

At least that's how you come across to me.

I think these pictures are funny/great as a Cat fan - all in the rivalry. It took only a couple minutes to find these on eGriz. This fan (if she goes to Griz games) must be wearing blinders?

<sorry there were a few more with cat/griz shirts and a little guy flipping you off, but the links didn't work>

Again - funny stuff.

It never said that he breathed oxygen or was a carbon based life form, either, but some assumptions are rather safe to make.

I agree. You're definitely a cool headed person from your posting style and certainly astute in your observations, etc.

Well said; I couldn't agree more. She needed to let her 2 friends come out and "play".

Reminds me of the old Woody Allen routine where he talks about getting into an accident or something while he thought he was God (I think that's how the story went). Anyway, he commanded the people who ran into him to "Go forth and multiply ... but not exactly in those words."

It's a matter of how you say it, I guess. There are days that I think everyone should love themselves enormously.

All of you are acting like a group of 5th graders. Grow a pair, Griz fans and Cat fans alike, and stop this childish back-n-forth, will ya?
