Hey Cat-trash, I actually LIKE losing to Bozo once in a while. Frankly, it had become tedious to even have to play you guys.

But while the Griz/Sc@ game is big fun, it's not the measure of a football team. That happens by virture of - and I know this is not a word familiar to you - PLAYOFFS!

Tell me, please... if this is another typical Sc@ season, does it spell the end of 50% Kramer?

I know this has been said before and it is very difficult for griz fans to understand but I will try one more time for you MaZoo. The griz were 8-3 and the end of the season, the Cats were 7-4. The griz had a non-conference game against a DII while the Cats played all I-A. If the cats had played a DII instead of a DI we would have had identical records and throw in the fact that we dominated the griz, we would have been in the playoffs. Seeing these facts and the fact that the griz got smoked AT HOME in the playoffs, how do you figure that your season last year was so much more successful than ours? Just because you made it to the playoffs? You don't really beleive that do you? The tiebreaker for the conference title went EWU, MSU, then UM but since UM had a better record and a bigger checkbook they were in and we were out but I guarantee you this, it was not because they were the better team. I feel better now.

Cue pictures of kitties.

Yes... over and over and over. "If", "had we", "since", "checkbook", bla, bla, bla. Excuses, excuses, excuses.

The simple, bottom line fact is that the Griz make the playoffs and the Sc@s don't. Change it or live with it.

You missed the main statement/question in my post. Was the grizzlies season that much more sucessful than ours because you had a win against a DII and an embarassing loss in the first round of the playoffs? Common sense would tell you no but I guess you see it differently.

By the way you left out: "dominated the griz", "smoked at home in the playoffs", and "not because you were the better team."

This coming from a fan whose supporting base blames the turf and outdoor conditions for every Griz loss. Wow...

That quote makes for a good sound bite but it doesn't s stand up. The Cats would not have travelled to a DII school. The only way you could have played a DII instead of a DI and ended up with an identical record is to have scheduled more home games. Face it, the Griz went to the playoffs because they went 3-2 on the road against DI competition, and the Cats failed to make them because they went 1-4 on the road against DI competition.

Cue: our road games were more difficult than your road games

i thought teams were measured in championships. no? last time i checked, neither the cats or the griz won it all last year, so as far as myself and the rest of the world are concerned, we were equal. there is one national champ, and everyone else is tied at no-national-champ. by your logic you may be better than some very good teams because they may have lost earlier in the day than the griz! get a grip.

Yeah, and we showed Portland State how its done...PS you played, and lost, to them on the road as well. But that's my point, you couldn't win on the road. Perhaps you would have beaten Cal Poly and PSU at home, but you also may not have been able to pull out your come from behind victories over ISU, NDSU and NAU on the road.

With all do respect, THE L to Portland State is what did you in. Along with getting drilled by Cal Poly.

Superior School??????????? Now who is out of his element. You probably didn't even go to school (obviously) but if you had you would have learned about higher education unless you went to UM. Which McDonald's do you work for or are you a taxidermist?
