Agreed, that was perhaps a bit rash. However, in the context of sport, I have just always reserved the pronoun "we" for those actually involved in a team or organization, and that excludes people buying tickets. That is not to downplay their role, because after all, what would sport be without fans? A simple matter of diction, and a silly pet peeve of mine.


As far as Griz fans on here, I think its terrific, I honestly do. And believe it or not, I love seeing MT represented in the national spotlight, even by the Griz. But self-righteousness from any vantage point is obnoxious, plain and simple. It's that same kind of mentality that oozes from Notre Dame fans that makes me despise them. Don't misconstrue that; I was not likening the team in Missoula to the one in South Bend. But at times I do see a common arrogance and it's disheartening at best and disgusting at worst.
Bottom line, on most weekends, my allegiance rests with any team from MT. But I always want to see the Cats beat the Griz.

Listen, I talk smack when it's talked. I have no ill will towards the Cats. I enjoy doing it to certain people because it gets ME pumped for the season and really makes Griz/Cat more of an emotional game.

My mother graduated from MSU and so have many of my friends. I just truly love stoking the fire... it makes the upcoming Griz/Cat game more exciting. It's fun to see the burns/insults/comebacks people have. Some of them you zing them back even worse... sometimes they zing you leaving you in your chair going DAMN... I've got nothing.

With that being said... take my posts with a grain of salt. It's all part of being a fan and I would expect nothing less from the Cats. Of course we all should have a little filter in our brain in reference to burns/insults vs plain poor taste.

I'll admit I've screwed up and sat on the dark pink side twice, albeit once they were orange Far cry from copper, gold and silver, but that would be construed as a digression, therefore, I don't wish to digress.
