Several conversations have taken place with Bobby Hauck, Foley said, primarily about an explicative Hauck used when the Kaimin asked him to comment about the supposed altercation involving the players.

You know, if you don't even know what the word is, you really probably shouldn't even use it. Poor writing further minimizes the credibility the Kaimen has after this whole affair, and that's about the last thing they needed.

Is it me or does it seem like there is a cover up to this latest allogation, like maybe a payoff. The kid that got assaulted went from trying to pursue the case to saying that they have had enough punishment. I don't know what happened sounds a little fishy all you Bobby Baby lovers. God I hate that guy!!!!!!!

There was no payoff, the police department in Missoula did their best to cover the U.
The dad and son are fine with the outcome and the way BH handled the situation. He treated them very well in the process.

Kinda the pot calling the kettle black if you ask me.
When the Cat problems began, I kept my mouth shut because while I had no knowledge of specific instances, I thought something less then pleasant was probably going on in Missoula too. Alls I can say is you best be careful when pointing fingers. A certain well known, old Griz coach told me that when you point a finger at somebody you have three pointing back at you. I have no love for the Cats, but I don't wish them any problems other then how they can get a leg up on the Griz. I hope all is well on the off the field problem front for you guys, but if you really believe things aren't going on then you do have your head in the sand. One night of too much alcohol and girl problems might have you eating a big crow pie. Kids are kids and I wish both programs avoid any more bad situations.

Re: More Griz Thuggery
Wrong BDizzle my roommate was in Missoula for the game and went to an after party at Klaboe's house and guess who was there Trumaine. He hasn't learned his lesson and I highly doubt he is a well spoken kid. Once a problem always a problem, believe what you want though.BDizzle wrote:I call BS on your statements about Trumaine being a thug from the hood and an incident waiting to happen. Trumaine is actually a well spoken nice young man. He got into a stupid fight and learned a valuable lesson from it. Ever since the fight he has actually stayed away from parties and other places where he could get in trouble. So hard to be an incident waiting to happen downtown when he is rarely downtown. While the taunting foul was dumb he was slapping hands with his teammate. Wasn't taunting the opponent in any way. Once again Hauck did the right thing and benched him just so he knows that no matter how good you are you cannot hurt the team by doing something like that. So Grizplan I don't know what your agenda is but spouting off lies and rumors on a rivals board is not gonna work.Grizplan wrote:Trumaine is an exceptionally gifted athlete, but is an immature thug from the hood who has zero class. Re: More Griz Thuggery
i don't at all question your story, but what is the problem with it? now we're gonna call out griz players for getting together after games? i don't even have a problem with players going to the bar on saturday nights after games. as long as they are of age, and not doing anything illegal than who cares? that said, most of them realize downtown isn't the best place for them. for one, it's a prime way for rumors to start whether true or not. seen it a thousand times. and second, you just never know when you'll run into that one meathead who wants to prove his worth by taking out a football player. also have seen this numerous times. so, it's pretty common for both football and basketball players to get together after the game, grab some dinner, buy some beer and maybe a couple bottles, and head over to a team mates for a house party. i think this is a smart way to still let lose a little, still enjoy college life, and minimize the chances of serious incidents that are commonplace in downtown bars. and, as i've said a thousand times, calling out griz players on this is just silly as our players do the same thing every weekend. who cares?Hi-Line Bobcat wrote:Wrong BDizzle my roommate was in Missoula for the game and went to an after party at Klaboe's house and guess who was there Trumaine. I don't have a problem at all with the kid going out and having fun. I like to have fun and party, I was proving Bdizzle's point wrong. This kid hasn't changed his ways at all, and probably will never, that is all I was saying.
Tampa griz you are twice a problem so you tell me what it means.

While I should respect Catamaran's post, I can't leave this alone without a reply.
So, what about all the current Cat players that have gotten into trouble? Obviously using your rationale, they're all bad kids and they will never change their ways?? Once a bad kid, always a bad kid, isn't that what you said? Or does that only apply to Griz players? As for doubting Johnson's well-spoken, is that because he's African-American? From California? Why the hell would you doubt that???
Now, since Hi-Line has been shown the door, can we we PLEASE stop the insanity???!

I am going with the African American one.............and if that stirs up too much trouble then I change my answer to the Californian one.GrizinWashington wrote:Hi-Line Bobcat wrote:I don't have a problem at all with the kid going out and having fun. Someone compiled this list over on egriz.
It's embarrassing actually. No getting around it.There are now 11 Grizzly football players since January 2007 who have been accused of violent acts against others off the football field. They include:
Jimmy Wilson
Qwenton Freeman
Tim Parks
Mike Shelton
Jeremy Pate
Greg Coleman
Andrew Douglas
Cody Von Appen
Justin Montelius
Trumaine Johnson
Andrew Swink
