At least it's not a Bobcat missing the tackle!

THAT would have brought on the nightmares...

At least this guy didn't break his hand while missing the tackle, like Levander Segars did when Corey Smith blew by him!

I was trying to figure out whether or not the NCAA sponsored the FBS National Championship (which they do not), and ran across http://www.div1fbchampionship.com/media.html . That's Georgia Southern, that might be Adrian Peterson, I don't know.

What is this picture? Who are the teams? Why would this scare Cat fans? Why am I so out of the loop on this one?

That's Woodhead, the guy who Chadron'd us.

This is the reason it is scary to Cat fans

It's from the December 2000 National Championship game in Chattanooga between Montana and Georgia Southern.

Now, I recognize there may be some unfamiliar terms to cat fans in my post, so I've thoughtfully included a glossary to simply it for you:
  • National Championship: The final game of the year, featuring the best two teams in the nation. The winner is declared "National Champion".

Chattanooga: A city in Tennessee in which the National Championship game is played every year.

December: The final month of the year, when only the finest college football teams are still playing.

Montana/Georgia Southern: Two fine college football teams that ofen play in December in Chattanooga for National Championships.

Yeah, that's a pretty scary photo to Cat fans, but I have one that should bring nightmares back to Griz fans:
