Convenient how he forgets another team that the Thunderbirds will be playing. And also doesn't mention that at least Southern Utah has the stones to actually play somebody...

That would be a great message board post ... but not quite "great" in terms of a piece of work from professional journalist. And so it goes.

Were you really expecting much more from the Grizzoulian

Real professional. I don't know who the guy is, but that is embarrassing. Especially the part about hearing booms in Boone, NC. The Griz were manhandled by UMass last year who was manhandled by App St. I wouldn't want to talk too much trash to App St. just yet. And what does he think piss-pounding these 3 patsy teams proves? This article would be more understandable from the premise that after piss-pounding these 3, he wants to see the first 3 conference games handled like that---that would maybe......maybe prove something.

What a tool--this is the kind of crap that makes me hate the Griz. I always say I would love to see 10-0 MSU vs. 10-0 UM in late November as long as MSU finishes 11-0, but this kind of stuff sure makes me think twice.

Then I'd go out and do the same to the Skyhawks and Great Danes and as many other teams as it takes to convince our town that the emperor is still wearing clothes. Stylish, officially licensed maroon and silver clothes.
If that's what it takes, have at it buddy. Beat up on all the little schools you want and then wear those colors with pride! What a tool.

We may well win the first 3 games, but it won't be by blowouts like everyone thinks.

Phen-Phen (and his loud mouth wife) will keep every team in the preseason schedule with the exception of Fart Lewis. This guys sucks ass as an OC. Hauck usually does stupid things to keep the games close as well.

It wouldn't surprise me to have a close call or a loss in a few games this year simply because our coaching staff is so mediocre.

We will definitely be outcoached in one game this year mark it down, and the outcome of that one will feel just like when UMass came in to town outcoached us and kicked our ass on the field.

Maybe, but at least I am not a myopic sheep.

I can see the weaknesses the Griz have and call a spade a spade.

I don't know if this is considered fighting words. After all, he is just a writer and doesn't represent the team or UM.

However, this will probably serve Southern Utah well as bulletin board material. Nice going Dundass. As a Griz fan, this article was embarrassing and tough to read. I kept waiting for the part that said "just kidding, this game could be closer than a lot of people think".

I have a feeling that if Mr. Dundas was to interview Paul McCartney, it would look a little something like this......

Chris Farley: Um, hi. Welcome to The Chris Farley Show. I'm.. Chris Farley.. and, my guest tonight is.. one of the.. greatest musicians.. uh, rock musicians. I guess, songwriter, ever. [ Smacks himself ] GOD! That sounds stupid! God, I'm an idiot! I never know how to start these things!

Paul McCartney: You're doing great, Chris.

Chris Farley: [ hopeful ] Really? No, I'm not. [ hyperventilating ] Anyway.. I guess.. I didn't have, have to say, who you were, because.. man, I mean.. everyone knows who you are. Mmm.. you're Paul McCartney.

Paul McCartney: Well, it's great to be here.

Chris Farley: [ uncomfortable ] You.. you.. you remember when you were with The Beatles?

Paul McCartney: Yeah, sure.

Chris Farley: That was awesome!

Paul McCartney: Yeah, it was.

Chris Farley: O-kay.. Oh! You.. you remember when you went to Japan.. and, uh, and at the airport they arrested you 'cause you had some pot, and.. it made all the papers, and everything..?

Paul McCartney: Well, to be honest, Chris, I'd kind of like to forget all of that.

Chris Farley: [ smacks himself harder ] IDIOT!! That's so stupid! What a dumb question!!

Paul McCartney: No, no, no, Chris. I get asked that all the time in interviews. Maria Shriver asked the same question last week.

Chris Farley: Really? [ pause ] Did you know that she's married to Arnold Schwartzenegger?

Paul McCartney: Yeah. I've heard that.

Chris Farley: Did you see "Terminator"?

Paul McCartney: No, I missed that one.

Chris Farley: That was a pretty awesome flick. [ pause ] O-kay.. remember.. you remember when you were with The Beatles, and you were supposed to be dead, and, uh, there was all these clues, that, like, uh, you played some song backwards, and it'd say, like, "Paul Is Dead", and, uh, everyone thought that you were dead? That was, um, a hoax, right?

Paul McCartney: Yeah. I wasn't really dead.

Chris Farley: Right. I think we.. I think we got time for one more question. Uh.. remember when you were in The Beatles? And, um, you did that album Abbey Road, and at the very end of the song, it would.. the song goes, "And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make"? You.. you remember that?

Paul McCartney: Yes.

Chris Farley: Uh.. is that true?

Paul McCartney: Yes, Chris. In my experience, it is. I find, the more you give, the more you get.

Chris Farley [ ecstatic, starts to point at Paul and mouth "AWESOME!" ] Well, that's it for this week's show. Thank you, Paul McCartney, thank you, for being one of the greatest.. of rock.. I mean, a living legend. And uh, a legend of rock and roll.. and.. just thanks for being on the show, and.. [ smacks himself even harder ] GOD DANGIT! That sounded stupid! I knew I'd screw up!

Paul McCartney: You did fine, you did fine, Chris.

Chris Farley: Really? Thanks, man. Thanks. Thank you. [ Outro music comes on, Chris continues to talk to Paul ] Remember.. remember when I was talking to you about "The Terminator"? You.. you should see that movie, it's pretty cool..

[ Paul nods his head ]

I have nothing in common with Alpha and think that for the most part is very pessimistic and likes to agitate people. I thing he is wrong on most things, but your post is childish and serves no purpose. I know this is smack talk, but really.

Alpha doesn't need anyone to stick up for him.

If you don't like smack don't read the smack board. On a real smack board anything goes, and nothings sacred, deal with it or go home.

And you do have things in common with me, now cry about that.

I know I have things in common with you and is scares the hell out of me. Believe me, I would never stick up for anyone that refers to himself in the third person. I just thought that is was a pretty lame post. My mistake. Flame on my friend.

Shut up loser. Alpha does need people to stand up for him as he is not able to fend for himself as you can see by his posts.
