I don't think it matters as a qualifier to be student body prez at dUMb- at least it wasn't not too many years ago.
How many years has it been since Jag was at dUMb?

I don't see what the big deal is. Your sentence is passive and nobody's griping about that. So were my last two, but then again I coudn't care less (I actually tried).
