PSU Sucks!!!!!

Post by FTG06' » Mon Sep 10, 2007 9:05 pm

Glanville is a bag of hot air, nothing more. All talk, no walk.

Who is the only team to have already lost to two FCS teams in the BSC (maybe even in the FCS)?

That's right, THE Portland State University. Can't wait for that game!!!!!

The only thing positive about PSUs losses the fact that they actually played a good pair of teams.

Glanville will be ok this year.

You guys can go ahead and take shots at the guy all you want but he will win at PSU.

I still think it will happen this year, but remember he is playing with guys that may or may not fit his system. When and if he stays there for 3-4 years and gets his guys in the thing....watch out.

excuses excuses Alpha, weren't you the one touting Glanville as the coach of the year in the Big Sky and claiming that PSU would have a very successful year?

Funny, you get down on Griz fans for not being harshly realistic but you remain annoyingly optimistic about PSU. 8)

And I still stand by my comments about Glanville. He is flat out the best coach in the history of the BSC period.

Maybe if you re-read my post you will see I wasn't making excuses, I said he would be fine this year but when he gets his guys into the program watch out.

Sounds like an excuse to me.

Also you think Glanville is better than Don Read?

60-69-0 in the NFL, 3-4 in the post season and he traded Brett Favre. Sounds like a damn amazing coach if you ask me.

He took 2 of the worst teams in the NFL and made the playoffs with both of them.

Quick, remind me how many games Don Read won coaching in the NFL?

Not really, just trying to keep ****** stirred up a bit. I wish he would be there for 3-5 years, it would be good for the conference, if nothing else the sound bytes are worth it.

Slept on that one huh? We're not comparing what level coaches play at, just how successful they are. How many national championships has Glanville won?

By your logic then, since the NFL (regardless the record) is better than college, Marty Morninwheg's little stint @ Detroit makes him a better coach than and BSC coach, ever. Yeah right.

Give me Read ANYDAY over Glanville.

You need some sleep.

Glanville has coached 2 games for PSU. Read coached for how many years and only got one NC. When/If Glanville coaches as long as Read he will win a few.

Also your Morninwheg comment is out in left field. he hasn't coached in the FCS has he?

I know you live in the world of rainbow skies and gumdrop mountains but give JG this season before you go off on him, Hauck has had 5 season to wreck our program and I don't see you calling for his head. (Not that their is much in it)

I can't believe you wrote that w/o a page full of laughing emoticons. So far, his BSC record is closer to that of Earl Solomonson's than Don Read's.

Are you Elvis?

You know thats where you an I are different, Bobby is either the 2nd or 3rd winningest Montana Coach and I think he'll pass Dennehey this year, if he hasn't already. Bobby's only knock is that he hasn't won "the big one." And you tear him down for that, he's continued the winning tradition of our school and most will admit is a great recruiter.

Meh, I could argue that point until I'm blue in the face and you'd never listen. Bottom line: Don Read>Jerry Glanville
give JG this season before you go off on him
You've never been the one to give anyone a "pass" so why are you doing it now?

There are 2 reasons BH wins games coaching the way he does.

1. Montana, because of our winning tradition recruits more talent than any program in the BSC.

2. The BSC is weaker than it has ever been.

If MD or JG had the talent we have had for the last 5 years they would have both won easily 2 National Championships.

Hauck will never win one, mark my words. Even if App St loses on a fluke call in the playoffs, some other team will beat our ass just like every year Hauck has been coaching here. He gets out coached in the Griz/cat game and the playoffs every year.

Second I give Glanville a pass because he has earned his position at PSU and deserves a couple years to get the program into his mold. I will take all your heat at the end of this year if they don't pan out even though they are not his players.

I still think he will turn it around and don't look now BSC play hasn't even started. Playing in the BSC is the quickest way to start a winning streak if your PSU.

Hauck never earned his head coaching position and was/is a bad hire. He pissed away at least 3 NC appearances and should have won at least one by now. This is further proof he is a very average coach. You keep hanging onto the dream and Bobby will keep smashing your world apart in the playoffs.

Biggest homer post on the board that I have EVER seen. Period.

JOE GLENN is a better coach than Glanville is, BECAUSE GLENN HAS A HISTORY TO PROVE IT. JG doesn't have anything really, just a couple of LOSSES, one of which was to a team that was supposed to be inferior to PSU (Davis).

A consensus on BN! JG is a better coach than JG.

Man, what is this guy smoking? If the BSC is so weak, tell me how a 7-4 team from the BSC got an at-large bid to the playoffs last season? How come the BSC has had multiple teams make the playoffs 4 of the last 5 years? If anything, I would say that the BSC is stronger now than it was in the 90's.

I agree. I think that the Sky is BY FAR the best it's been since the Idaho/BSU migration.
