We chewed on 'em for them. But come on, they beat Southern Utah by 4 points!! The Cats better be ranked at least 5 for that effort!

This was an interesting Saturday. The Griz proved they can win against good teams (barely, I'll admit) and the Cats eek out a win against not a very good team (in bad conditions, I'll admit).

I wonder if the cats were looking ahead to next weekend @ EWU

Griz didn't prove anything other than they have regressed since HAuCK took over.

Well at least we saw which team has the better D. Yours gave up 17 ours only 3. Oh yeah, on that note, how many yards did the vaunted griz D give up today? I didn't see. Good thing there was always some yellow to stifle things when EWU got into the red zone.

Yep. Southern Utah and Eastern Washington are most certainly the same caliber of teams. By the way, how's your record against them? :)

What does EWU have to do with the fact that your D gave up 17 points to SUU and our D gave up 3 to SUU? And our record against who? SUU? The same as yours. Our record against EWU? We have yet to play them this year. Man you girz are stupid.

Why do you think Eastern Washington is better than SU?

I expect you're meaning to be sarcastic, in some way. SUU is nothing compared to EWU.

on behalf of Bobcat fans, let me apologize (in drone like bandwagon fashion) for ever questioning the strength of schedule for the alleged #1 team in football as they close out their five game home stand. i now understand that if you are not glorifying the best team in the nation (proven in dominating fashion five times over), then you are bad mouthing them. how can people debate an issue like this?

i hope you are able to spread this same message to everyone who has questioned the dominance of the griz this year, but feel you already have since it is limited only to Bobcats.

sheeshh……

Can't argue that the Griz schedule was a little soft. Just simply pointing out that obviously SUU wasn't nearly the cupcake so many cat fans seemed to believe a month ago.

It's not the point spread, stupid.

Is no one looking at percentages? We outscored SUU by a ratio of 7:3 and UM's was 37:17. That's almost identical, but our ratio is slightly better. If you keep carrying that out we reach 37 before SUU reaches 17. 7 x 5 = 35 and 3 x 5 = 15. As you carry it out we get further ahead and reach the 20 point spread before we get to 37 and 17.

Math makes MSU better.

Dear Gawd, Man!!! It's a message board!!! Don't bring MATH into it!!!! :D

(also, only an engineer would have come up with that!)

but they completely shut you out in the second half and still had a chance to win.

logic makes MSU confused.

Everyone has a chance to win. When you are being outscored by a ratio of 7:3 you have less of a chance to win than if you are being outscored by a ratio of 37:17.

Glad you brought that up, because there was NEVER a question about the outcome of your game

while not a second half shut out - both weber and eastern had a VERY good chance to beat the #1 team in the country.

seems like a valid reason for griz fans to be over here within a couple hours of the game bragging it up......when you throw logic out the door....
