The Anatomy of a Griz Fan

Post by Butte-Bobcat » Sun Oct 21, 2007 7:40 pm

Nothing but maroon and silver in their wardrobes.

Every thing they own is adorned with Griz crap.

Believes that their football team is the only team in the state.

Usually over weight.

Most likely under educated.

Believes Missoula actually has great restaurants.

Wouldn't know class if it jumped up and bit them in the ass.

Missoula is the biggest and most culture filled city they have ever been to.

Spends most of what they make working at Wal-Mart on Tickets to the griz games.

Spends more time on Bobcat Nation bashing the Bobcats than on egriz.

Root for a school they have never attended nor ever will.

Think Bobby Hauck's nose "Looks Cool."

I could go on and on...

Nothing but maroon and silver in their wardrobes - There's something wrong with that? lol

Every thing they own is adorned with Griz crap - School pride, ain't it a bitch?

Believes that their football team is the only team in the state - There's that other school too...uh...um...Carrol, thats it.

Usually over weight - Being a fat guy I can't argue that point, must be our massive tailgate parties

Most likely under educated - UM has higher athlete graduation rate than MSU and they just won the presidents cup awarding schools for academic & athletic accomplishments. That's just the players though, as for the fans I'd say UM fans are just about as dumb as MSU fans.

Believes Missoula actually has great restaurants - Guy's Steakhouse, The Depot, Red Bird, Shadow's Keep, and Mo Burgers from the Mo Club.

Wouldn't know class if it jumped up and bit them in the ass - Classy

Missoula is the biggest and most culture filled city they have ever been to. Uh...no. We go to Portland every other year for the PSU game, it's much more diverse over there. Also Seattle's a close trip.

Spends most of what they make working at Wal-Mart on Tickets to the griz games - Again, you stay classy bobcat poster-guy

Spends more time on Bobcat Nation bashing the Bobcats that on egriz. Ok so who besides Alpha and Nick?

Rout for a school they have never attended nor ever will - We "rout" for a school? Is that possible? While you're talking ****** about education and class you might want to check your spelling/grammar. However I'm sure only MSU grads are cat fans, right?

Think Bobby Hauck's nose "Looks Cool." - Facial structure smack, oooooooh!

Wow, I've never seen something so clever. Removing the "e" from Butte and spelling Butt. WhooHooo, that's a doozy!

Once again, a fountain of original thought and wit. Well played, sir. =D^

Look...since you're a newbie (and a Butte guy, as am I), I'm not going to tear into your post too severely, but let me just say this:

Telling opposing fans to "get a life" because they post on another team's message board is the oldest (and most lame) piece of smack imaginable. Every college team that has a message board has opposing fans that post on it (including eGriz, with its many regular posters who are Cat fans), and without the resulting banter, none of these boards would be as much fun as they are.

So, by all means, keep saying it: after all, "get a life" will no doubt sound much more clever coming from you than it has from the first 4,378 posters on this board who have told Griz fans to "get a life" and go back to eGriz. ;)

And Air Force neglects his apostrophe.

We could do this "spelling, punctuation" smack all day with the posts on this board. But the bottom line (and the point Re/Max made quite well, I believe) is that the original post was dumb-a$$. Many seem to agree.
