I was just wondering how the griz fans were dealing with the outage of egriz over the weekend. It looks like you’ve missed out on 24 hours of one of the best times to smack the Cats in the last 10 years or so. I just wanted to thank your admins for taking it down for us.

I’m sure you will make up for it when egriz is back up.

Just think of all the advertising dollars of yours that are going to waste. Have you called Chris to see what is up?

Don't know his number, but I'm sure he's working on it.

And based on the results of my advertising over there, it's already paid for itself, time and time again. 8)

There's some "Cat bashing" on e-griz, but not that much. Not as much Griz bashing as goes on over here.

Find me a thread or even a post by a griz fan on egris where the Cats are mentioned in a positive way.

I will wait untill egriz is back up but until you can show that to me you have nothing to talk about.

Hey, I didnt want a pissing match either, But saying that over on egriz they will welcome another Cat fan with open arms is BS and you know it. I have fun over there, I can take it and I like to post smack back, but dont tell me that they are polite or even nice to a cat fan that post an honest opinion, because it isn't true and you know it. Then griz fans come over here and wonder why we say FTG and ESGCGC. Come on, you can't all be that dense can you.

I did delete it, because I reacted too quickly. I thought your post was in response to mine on the Grizbacker thread (which oddly parallels this same topic). After I realized you weren't responding to me, I felt like a fool. I apologize, 2506.

eGriz, and all of Chris's subsequent sites are down right now, including Big Sky Fans, FCS Fans, WyoNation, etc. Chris is out of town this weekend, last I knew, so it'll probably come back online when traffic calms down, in the next couple of hours. Definitely a tribute to the popularity of the sites, even you Cat fans visit them frequently! :)

Update: Pings and trace routes are successful to eGriz and WyoNation, so Modwest (the hosting company) is fine... so it's another case of the server not being able to handle the load. Last week Chris told me that a project he undertook, a North Dakota preps site, was causing A LOT of traffic issues, and causing a lot of load on the servers.
