Bobby Hauck Story
Wow. Posted on www.ramnation.com. Enjoy...
"Others have suggested Bobby Hauck the Montana Head Coach. Yes he has an impressive 52-14 record at his alma mater but there are concerns with Hauck. Here is one story I will share. While at CU, he was recruiting Andre Gurode. Hauck was doing an in-home visit with Andre knowing that Texas was to follow him with an in-home visit. Hauck asked if he could hide behind the couch during the Texas visit. Gurode said sure so Hauck did it. He actually hid behind the couch! This was a story told by Neuheisel at a recruiting luncheon several years ago. (Note: Hauck was an assistant under Slick Rick Neuheisel at both Washington and Colorado). On top of that Montana has had several off-the-field problems with their football players. Several Montana players that Hauck recruited and allowed into the program have been arrested. Three players broke into several homes with semiautomatic machine guns and tasers. Another Montana player was arrested for attempted murder. Let’s just say CSU is better off passing on Hauck. He has produced results on the field but his off the field success has been poor."

The couch had been purchased a second hand store, and while hiding he noticed a small tear in the fabric. Low and behold, the coach was filled with $100 bills. After the Texas recruiter left, Bobby took all the money out of the couch and gave it to the family. The family is eternally grateful to Bobby as their house was in foreclosure and they used the money to bring their loan current.....
And they all lived happily ever after.

NO, he did not.didn't he get in trouble for some stuff while recruiting under the Weasel?
And I stand by what I said earlier. catatac, if you even suspect that any part of this story is true beyond BH was at their house to recruit the kid, you should never leave your house. Seriously. If you are that gullable, you will have every red nickle stolen from you.

I believe that would be an NCAA voilation. Therefore, Bobby=Bad and should be punished.Eastcoastgriz wrote:... (Think Paul Harvey)

That's what I was thinking, especially if it was the coach, and not the couch, that was filled with $100 bills as ECG says.Cat-theotherwhitemeat wrote:I believe that would be an NCAA voilation. Therefore, Bobby=Bad and should be punished.Eastcoastgriz wrote:... (Think Paul Harvey)

Re: Bobby Hauck Story
Considering some of the details this doesn't "sound" made up. I don't know what would motivate someone to post this unless they just wanted to get someone else hired or had an axe to burn with Hauck/Neuheisal. But thats seems a little far-fetched. Hauck strikes me as real immature and insecure, so I wouldn't put this past him. Isn't there a story out there that he pissed on someone's head from a balcony at a party because that person was wearing a Bobcat cap?catatac wrote:Wow. Posted on www.ramnation.com. Enjoy...

You guys can make up all the stories you want, regurgitate them years later, it still doesn't make them true.crazycat wrote:

So please, share with us those interactions you have had with Hauck that led you to the opinion that he is real immature and insecure. Oh, that’s right, you don’t have any interactions with him and you're just making $hit up like the others.
