I wonder if RTP's sports bra will be available for sale Sunday? I heard it was actually made from burlap!

Sorry, but I moved these comments as we've had some complaints lately and I agree that we have some topics that get out of hand and make the main board hard to read. Not picking on you two by any means since almost every single post you guys have is a great contribution, I'm just trying to clean up some of the topics that have turned too sexiest or vulgar and I saw this as a decent place to start.

I think you'll find it was moved to the "college sports" section.

Relax, as GiW said it was simply moved to the appropriate forum.

I didn't move it, but whoever did probably did so because it isn't a topic relating to MSU Athletics, but it was perfect for the board it now resides upon.

When Griz fans take over a thread, as they seem to be doing with startling consistency, or when certain Griz posters start blaming their children for their own embarrassing and childish actions, a trend is noticed. My one complaint is the amount of Griz posters on this board. Nothing can be discussed without a Griz fan inserting their two cents on the matter and how it is related to the Holy Land of football, Missoula.

Maybe the admins could make it so that those griz posters could only post in smack and college sports.

I know what you mean papa, every discussion we have in Bobcat athletics is taken over by griz and how it relates to them. It just shows their narcissism.

I think the proof of what I post speaks much louder than your accusations during GRIZ/cat. I have been posting here for several years. You will not find any posts that are derogatory to msu, your coaches or your athletes.

Of course, I don't care what the mods do; it's their board, after all. However, I think you'll find that many of the lengthiest threads on this board are started by Cat fans and are ABOUT the Griz (see the 12 page thread on Griz expansion). I would argue that most posters on here appreciate other perspectives, particularly about topics Griz fans are apt to know more about (like expansion of their stadium).

There's no "ignore" feature on this board, but most Griz posters don't hide their allegiances within their names. Feel free to just pass those posts by if you wish. I don't think it will hurt many of our feelings.

It only takes one slip-up to tear down any goodwill.

You had your moment and in a moment of panic you blame your daughter.

Correct. Because Griz fans drag the thing on and on and in doing so insult the MSU program. It's getting really freaking old at this point. Also, I know as much or more about UM expansion than most Griz fans that post here. I'd wager on that one...

Papa, with all due respect: One, it was your post that "derailed" the thread noted above. And two, it is obvious from your posts that you know little about the expansion and the plans. Yes, you understand that eventually the goal is to have over 30,000 seats. But your understanding of the timeline and the method of financing were not even in the ballpark.

But that aside, do you no longer wish knowledgable Griz fans to post when they have input on a subject?

That is simply untrue. Start-up costs are start-up costs no matter what the financing is or how large is the expansion. Again, I'll put up my sources against any of the super-huge Griz fans' sources on what is going on inside the UM program and their "whale" boosters.

That said, I will admit that I am simply sick of this board being overrun by know-it-all Griz fans, and I am also sick of being told that I know nothing about UM's expansion when that simply is not true. This is probably adding to the edgy nature of my posts.

Papa, please read and comprehend, because this is the fifth time I've posted this:

There is NO whale/s for the UM expansion. It is being financed 100% from ticket revenue. What is it about that statement that is unclear to you? There are no donations. There is no use of the University General Fund. There are no donors. The money for expansion is coming exclusively from ticket revenue from the end zone expansion (because those bonds were exhausted well ahead of schedule). I'm not sure what your comment about start-up costs mean. The start up costs come from the same place all the costs do: From ticket revenue.

Believe me or believe your "sources". But I sit on two Boards of Directors at UM, so you can rest assured that I have pretty good information. But I'm certain your sources are more credible.

And I'll stick to my point that most posters on here realize that Griz fans add much to this board, and I'll stick by my offer to have you ignore all of my posts if you wish. Believe me, I won't take it personally.

Again, I don't want this to be smack. It's not intended to be. And I fully understand that Griz fans (me included) have derailed many-a-thread on this board. But if you believe it's ALL Griz fans doing that, you've got your head in the sand.

That's almost moronic. Make any accusations you want. We have been waiting for your response regarding these so called "Vulgar and/or Insulting" comments!

You are completely misinformed if you don't think the "whale" contributions play into how ticket money can be earmarked for expansion.

Think about it for a minute...
