Umm it was 18-6 in 1898, 6-0 and 16-0 in 1898. But what I'm most curious is why you stopped there, how where those next 7 years?

I am very certain that the link where your score has the cats winning is a division of MN and the author is biased.

Are you drunk posting in the middle of the day again? That's what I just said it was 16-0 Griz in the second game of 1898(you said 38-0 which was the 1899 score in favor of us). The first game was in 1897 and "Montana's first football team, in 1897, won just one of its six games, but that was over the Bobcats." Even then all you guys cared about was winning the rivalry game!

Oh yeah, and your missoulian link doesn't seem too trustworthy either:

WOW! That was a pretty impressive streak for the CATS... beat them 6 years in a row and the combined scores were 137 to 17. 4 Shutouts for the good guys...

Congrats on your basketball title from 1928 though - it feels like it's almost been that long since you guys sniffed the tournament.

Therefore, in order for anything to be called "tradition" - you have to actually have done SOMETHING in the last 20 years

(in other words, a media national championship in 1929 and the fact that you have not gotten near the tournament at all in over a decade is not exactly a continuing pattern........same goes for football)
