ok now i have had a long last 4 hours so i need to vent some...

(1) jackass bicyclists who take their half of the roadway out of the middle- only on Mendenhall..Babcock...11th...
(2) The "hybred only" parking at the library...only out of principle
(3) The fact that Lady cats basketball games were only a quarter full this year
(4) where do our ice dogs play...the fairgrounds
(5) seems to me that a few package delivery drivers are picking up a habbit their brothers in butte have - parking IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET
(6) THe co-op can put up a odd looking structure and pay lower wages yet wall mart has to help out with low cost housing....
(7) since 2002 we have been looking for a place for the jail....

I agree on #4. The fact that they cannot use the only good facility in Gallatin Valley anymore is a bunch of bull.

To add: What happened to having a bunch of great concerts at the Fieldhouse? My freshman year ('02) at MSU there were about 5 really big concerts, and it's been declining ever since!

One thing that bothered me about Bozeman, was when the CNFR (College National Finals Rodeo) was kicked out of Bozeman due to advertising rules on campus.

Has the CNFR ever come back?

Gus,
But since you are on this board, I will trust you weren't the jerk that trashed my daughter's bike while her car was in the shop last month. According to the RoundHouse folks, they had received 4 or 5 bikes that had been similarly vandalized while the owners were in class in the period of a couple weeks.

I guess that is one thing I can say about Bozeman that I don't like is - some numbnutz thinking he has to take his frustrations out on someones' bikes.

But then Bozeman doesn't hold a candle to what it was like in the 70's. (and there was a CNFR -as well as the wild cow riding for non-cowboys at the annual rodeo.)

Bozeman used to be a nice small town with a college feel and quaint little shops. It was a place to go skiing and check out those shops. Kind of like a big Red Lodge. Now, it's a bunch of chain and box stores with a bunch of out-of-staters taking over. They should have left that to Billings as it suits us. Bozeman seems to have lost it's identity IMO.
