1. It's 200 miles away on the other side of the Continental Divide.
2. Press Box- great sports bar

On a good inversion day (or when wildfires in the area) you can't see the city from the Interstate.

- An efficiently run University.
- An even for efficiently run Athletic Department.
- Always something to do that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
- Brewfest in Caras Park
- A bar that claims itself to be a sports bar and actually is - PRESS BOX
- Fine dining
- Culture
- John's Route Beach
- The existence of a bike route to get you wherever you need to go and off the streets.
- Actual neighborhoods you would want your kids to grow up in.
- More than one High School instead of cramming way too many kids into one.
- A mascot that can actually do something acrobatic/gymnastic.
- Local business' that actually support and GIVE money to the University.
- Lack of stuck-up snobbiness. (trust me, I've lived in both towns and Bozeman is way more stuck up than Missoula)
- Better looking women. (Not all plastic and layered with 5lbs of makeup)
- A mall with more than one store you would actually want to go in.
* I could go on put I have to get back to work*
Ya and this

The Iron Horse Pub -- great food, good selection of beers, usually good "scenery".

Brewfest in Caras Park Whoopee!! Havin' fun now!
- A bar that claims itself to be a sports bar and actually is - PRESS BOX Agree
- Fine dining- multiple fast food joints= dUMb upper management positions
- Culture Yea right
- John's Route Beach Whoopee!! More fun!
- The existence of a bike route to get you wherever you need to go and off the streets. Can't afford a car & gas
- Actual neighborhoods you would want your kids to grow up in. But most dUMb grads can't afford
- More than one High School instead of cramming way too many kids into one. Resulting in piss poor HS athletic teams
- A mascot that can actually do something acrobatic/gymnastic. Whoopee! Look, a somersault!
- Local business' that actually support and GIVE money to the University. Duh, same thing happens in Bozeman
- Lack of stuck-up snobbiness. (trust me, I've lived in both towns and Bozeman is way more stuck up than Missoula) Give me a f'ing break
- Better looking women. (Not all plastic and layered with 5lbs of makeup) Hairy armpits & legs in a long flowery dress
- A mall with more than one store you would actually want to go in. Two headshops?
* I could go on put I have to get back to work*
I'll give ya the Press Box- true sports bar

Whoa! Gokats has a serious case of Missoula-envy going on.
Hard to argue with anyone of BearCat's suggestions.

Thanks for the compliment. However, I respect GoKats opinion. I've always believed that if you could somehow combine Missoula and Bozeman into one town it would definately be a Utopia.

I'd hardly call it fizzoula envy, but I have had some good times in the Press Box (and a few other watering holes in the fizzoula area).
Truth is, I could enjoy the absolute worst $hit hole on earth (if fizzoula isn't it) as long as it has a good bar, preferably a sports bar.

Can't argue that point. You'll never hear me rip on Missoula or Bozeman.
