YOU CAT FANS TOLD ME TO TALK SMACK...

I talked smack after Sac State handled MSU in football and then I was told to talk smack beforehand next time. You're team is overconfident and Sac has benefited from arguably the toughest non-conference schedule in the Big Sky (along with EWU). Jason Harris should have been Big Sky POW last week (31pts, 9reb) and he'll show you why this week. Thoughts ?

Hmmm, let's take a looksy shall we
Big Sky Schedule Rank for all of Div I**:
EWU: 54
UM: 88
CSUS: 217
MSU: 238
NAU: 251
WSU: 257
ISU: 276
PSU: 326
And CSUS, along with MSU, are the only Sky teams to have not played a single team in the top 30. So technically you have the third toughest schedule in the Sky but if you think having the 217th ranked schedule has prepared your team so much better than the Cats' 238th, why are the Hornets only 2-2 in the Sky and 5-11 overall? Simple question. Doubt I will get an answer.

Harris will be lucky to score 31 points in BOTH games this season against the Cats. You can guarantee that he will be seeing tough man to man and trapping defense this week. Plus he'll have to work on the defensive side of the ball or Jefferson/Miller will light him up.
They're 2-2

Because of a lackluster stretch in which PSU went on a 20-3 run, but Sac close it to within 1 and has played PSU tougher than anyone else this year. Also a poor shooting night led to a 3 point loss (should hafe been one if EWU had some class) to EWU. It's true that MSU has added some athletic players which should match up better with Sac than they have the last couple years. Playing 1 team in the top 30 to me isn't as tough as playing a handful of others who are in the top 100 or so.

And CSUS has done so well against that handful of top 100 teams.

Give me a break, the Hornets haven't beaten anybody of note and haven't won a game on the road all season. To think the Hornets will come in and slap MSU around is a bit off, should be a good game though.
Interested to hear how it is that the Eagles team are classless because they put up an extra two points at the buzzer. So what if the kid dunked it at the end, an L is and L whether he does it or not. Seems silly and sour grapes to even bring something like that up.
I'm sorry

Yes this is the smack forum, just cause you ignore facts and statistics doesn't mean I have to though.
Still interested to hear why EWU was classless and why it mattered in the first place to you though.

Maybe he is off whining cause the Cats shot a three at the end to win the game instead of just making two! "Dangit, if not for those classless Cats, my Hornets would have only lost by two!"

Just not as big of a computer nerd as you fellows. I must admit I was still nervous up 8 with 9:00 to go, but you all need to remember that you have to come to the Nest in a couple weeks, where you haven't won in two years. Jason Harris dropped 13, so he'll need 2 next time to beat your "fearsome" trap defense and someone's earlier prediction. I'll gladly take a return trip to MSU in the playoffs, we always play well there...

That's assuming that you'll make the playoffs.

Speaking of Jason Harris, he was one first class jerk. Both during the game with his mouth and after the game when he would not shake hands. The rest of the team and coaches all shook hands with the Cats, but Harrios just left the floor.

I'm certainly not here to talk about his character. All I know is he can ball, and I wasn't there to see him choose to not shake hands...

You guys might want to win a road game before making that guarantee...

What? Harris didn't get his 35 points like you were predicting? I thought that might happen when he went up against the 2nd best defense in the conference. SAC will be a .500 team at best this year because as you know you will not always get refs that let all that 'physicality' (KRAMER

) go w/o calling the foul. So my guess you'll get 50/50 of that type reffing or less and will lose the games you get in foul trouble (might be an indicator of why you don't win on the road maybe??). I guess we will see, my hunch is that on Saturday the Griz beat them by 15-20 as the refereeing we know isn't as 'kind' to oppossing teams (see womens Cat/Griz game

.

Hey, all you young folks just starting to realize how sorry and out of sync with the rest of the country our Big Sky "officials" are?

I never predicted harris would drop 35. A previous poster(YOU) said he would be lucky to get 15 points combined in both games against MSU.
