Because the latest mascot looked like a freaking leopard or a cheetah. At least the old one looked like a bobcat, albeit a really pissed off one. The person that was the scary old Champ was a helluva lot better (more energy and mischief/hijinx) than the new one, IMO.

Ummmm, you said it yourself - the WHOLE 1984 TEAM raised that money, not one person. I would be completely satisfied if we had to wait a bit longer to get the funds for our upgrades than have to name our house "Sletten Field", or (God forbid) "Ted Turner-Bobcat Stadium". I don't want MSU beholden to anyone.

Why is it that some griz fans park their ass on BN day after day after day wondering why Cats fans do what they do? I could give a sh!t less what griz fans do or think and the last thing I would waste a moment of my life on would be posting stupid questions on egriz.
