I'll start this in smack, since someone will probably accuse me of Griz envy. But why would the Great Falls Tribune put this in their paper? Do they think people from Great Falls are going to drop everything and drive to Missoula (340 mile round trip) on a school/work night to go to the Great Griz Encounter?

But the article is lifted directly from the Missoulian. I don't think there's anything nefarious about it.

I'll bet there's people from Miles City that'll be there.

I was talking to one of my partners yesterday and he was saying that if you were reading the Trib lately that you wouldn't even know the griz were starting practice. Almost everything has focused on the Cats the last couple of weeks. I am sure it will change. George was probably on vacation.

It does seem like the Trib covers the Cats a little better. The Billings Gazette finally got rid of Fritz and it seems like the Cats get a little more coverage now..

If you did read the cat/griz insider, a person could find intelligent responses like

Not only is the coverage a bit better, but the writing is much better. Msla can have him, and we can have more coverage.
