Most MSU students graduate at 22-23 years of age. Seeing as he's 73 I'd say he'd fit the dUMb program much better.

He was looking to transfer but was concerned about having to sit out a year..... It is not an NCAA eligibility issue, but will he still be alive after his redshirt year!
