I am not a Hauck hater like AG1 and many other Griz folk...but did you see him when the game was over jumping around like they just kicked a last second field goal for the win.
Dude...the game was over in the middle of the second qtr.....why would you jump around and act like it was some kind of last second win as you ran on the field to shake Ash's hand?
You looked like an idiot...and I am now beginning to agree that you are a classless SOB.
That was low grade dude!
OK AG1...you may be right.

See JD Quinn.
Regarding Bobby, That's OK though because sometime, somewhere, if Bobby keeps coaching, he will get his Sh!t handed to him (please someone tell me where he will move up to...Wyoming?? U-Dub?? Utah State?? San Diego State?? get real). Karma does exist and it cuts both ways. It pays to treat opponents & people with dignity and respect but Bobby is too old to learn this lesson in life.

I don't know. I haven't been bobby's biggest fan over the years but have appreciated the success of the team as he has grown as a coach. This is his best coaching job by far IMHO and I think that he is a Montana boy, grew up in this state, and the game means as much to him as it does to most of the football fans across the state. The Brawl is different and he is excited and in there with his guys, especially after the d-linemen runs the pick back for six. I think it shows passion and it is why some of these guys like to play for him. I am by no means at all saying he is a perfect coach, but I don't think this really makes him and ass. Just my two cents though.

You are right...not especially "bad".
Just especially classless, low grade and unprofessional. So you make a valid point....doink.
Kinda TPT!
(jumping up and down like a 18 yr. old when the whisle blows on a 35-3 game when you are making your way over to congratulate your opponent coach.........I thought it was very douchey.) Just me maybe....
I do know that my opinion of Hauck has been refined a bit based on this conduct today.
Good game GRIZ....you were the better team.
Hauck...you sucked! (now who is whiney...ROFL)

OK you're both sore losers---and dorks on top of it.
Obviously you've never competed in anything sports---table tennis, perhaps badminton?
He was happy to beat the dumb-ass Cats again. He has every right to celebrate with his team.
Maybe just stand there grim and emotionless after a big win. yeah that would be way classier.
I would think, being cat fans and all, you would've learned to take it in the shorts a long time ago. So STFU and have a little respect for your master.

The bad news is today that the CATS lost, the good news is that you will probably have your coach, BH, for many more years because of his wonderful personality. Actually, being that said, good luck in the play offs.

Why, thank you, CatGal.
You're the best thing that ever happened to this mecca of cyber-depravity.

Funny you guys would mention this.. a coach that coaches with emotion, genuinely hates his rival, and gets excited over a win.. Kramer was that kind of guy as well. Ash.. well, not so much from what I've seen. Bobby doesn't exactly make it a secret that he wants to pound the Cats into the ground.. maybe if your coach showed the same emotion the game wouldn't have been 35-3. :twocents:
On that note, nice game. See you next year.

I hate to agree with a Griz, but I see what this guy is saying. When Kramer was our coach, our players used to play with such emotion and pride. Ever since Ash has showed up, it is like we are out there just to play and have fun. I hate Hauck, but he does a lot of things right. After the Weber loss, he told his players to be more emotional and celebrate everything. Look where they are at now. Our team lacks leadership and emotion, two things you need to be a winning team.

haucks a dumb$hit, always has been... when asked about crawford during the cat/griz pregame interview, he said something along the lines of "that number 1 right?" he knew damn well who crawford was... well i hope he does now.. hes almost got beaten by him single handedly the past two years

Yeah futurebobcat, but not really.
The game has been DOMINATION the last 2 years. Not even close. Crawford can run all he wants all over but at the end of the day, the Cats still SUCK

The only thing that really bugged me about Hauck this past week, was how many references he made to this being such a "one-sided rivalry". I think most football fans in Montana are aware of this, without Hauck having to mention it every day. I know that you Griz fans may not understand, but it is exactly these sorts of "subtle" put downs, that make Cat fans hate him so much.
On the other hand, I believe that he may be underrated in terms of his actual coaching ability. Practically everyone on BN was absolutely convinced at the beginning of the season, that UM was headed for something like a 5-3/8-4 season. Then, after getting beaten soundly by WSU, people were certain that this was the year the Griz would be humbled somewhat. Some of us knew better though, because we have seen this happen year after year. They just always have so much talent in the pipeline, and Hauck got that team to improve tremendously since the beginning of the season. Joe Glenn was a hero in Missoula, but he never really even had to play with many of his own recruits, having been there only 3 years. IMHO, Hauck just may deserve to be considered a better coach than Glenn.

Maybe it had something to do with George M just running back a 73 interception runback for a TD. What do you think??
Bobby could be assisting a little old lady across the street and you would find something to complain about. He was walking to slow, he was walking to fast, he stood on her left, he stood on her right........

Maybe he's never had the opportunity to see him without his helmet. Does he have a good hairstyle that people tend to remember and salivate over?

Here is the whole correct quote:
“Number 1, right?” Montana coach Bobby Hauck asked. “Yeah. He's good. He's had a lot of yards the last few weeks.
“(He) is a really, really fine football player. No one's really shut him down.”
Looks to me that he is giving him a lot of respect.
