A buddy called me Friday morning and said he had a extra tix for the Cat/griz game. So i took off that afternoon made it to Butte and on to the game Saturday morning to meet up with him, (he is a griz fan). Wow! the tailgate was awesome the crowd was even better than Boise State games. Man they are loud it was totally awesome! They had awesome side shows, videos, music and the mascot was all unbelievable. Now ive been out of Montana for over 20 years and have not attended a Cat game since i have left, after graduating from MSU. I was totally WOW'd. Then the game started and other than the 2 big plays by the cats 1 pass and 1 big run the griz pretty much stomped us. Then i saw something that really pissed me off. I was seated next to the tunnel where the Cats came in and out of and there was some griz fans yelling down to our players things like Enjoy your Thanksgiving and bet you guys wished you were playing in this stadium, instead of your cat box. Many of the Cat players the ones not from Montana, (cus they did not look like they came from Chester or Roundup), held their crotches and said nasty things. There were kids and women around and it was just nasty, very nasty. I will have to say the hecklers did tell Bobby Daly that he was a great player and they wished he would have come to play for the griz. After my assesment of the game and the atmosphere i will go back to watch more Griz games when the Boise State Broncos are not playing in Boise, cus i am a season ticket holder. The cats have a long road to be where the griz are at, i mean havn't they beaten the cats like 20 of 24 years. Really is sad cus when i went to school at MSU we usually had a better team than the griz and it was a great rivalry, but things do change i guess.

Hey bud! Why don't you just stay in Boise where your arrogance won't make you a red herring. Dark pink might look good on you too!

so, the tailgates were awesome, the fans better than at boise state, yet our rivalry has changed since you were at msu? makes very little sense. this rivalry is still huge. ask any cat or griz fan. griz have our number for sure, but if no one cared, there wouldn't be so much trash-talking, chanting, and fighting before, during, and after the game. get a clue.

Interesting note -- this new poster appears to post from the same location as SweetGrassCat67.

Just a coincidence, I'm sure.

But just to be safe, let's move this thread to smack ... seeing as how there's a really good chance that both SweetGrassCat67 and this poster are both the same person and are not Cats at all.

This is just getting sad.

I suspected something was going on from the flavor of the post. Thanks for the detective work, I was always convinced sweetgrass was a griz.

DD (not related to this thread....but), I'm in Boise on business, and I'll be at the game tonight. Wearing my Gold Rush T-Shirt and White MSU hat. I'll be there with a friend of mine who's a big BSU fan, so we'll be in the BSU section....come looking for me.

The Federal Trade Commission has done a fabulous job the past few years. What's wrong with the Griz football team wanting to give them their due respect after beating the Cats?

I'm confused why this got moved to smack? The one thread about the Griz players being classless was ok because it must be true. But this thread about Cat fans being classless is smack because ??? After reading it, even if it was an imposter, everything stated was just as factual as the other post.

After reading this post and absorbing all it emitted, I really only have one thing to say.
