I'll tell you, the game that really jumps out at me here is the battle of the pies. Pumpkin will be a prohibitive favorite, but drawing another pie in the first round is never easy. Second, I really think Corn simply did not get enough credit from the Committee. To be seeded below Glazed Carrots seems like a stretch to me. Stuffing also could make the claim that as a traditional power, they deserved a better draw. And finally, if the seeds hold, the semi-final between Ham and Pumpkin Pie may turn out to be the game of the year. Frankly, however, I don't think any of the teams in this field have the taste to hang with Turkey. I look for them to defend their title.

Mashed potatos are way over rated as a 4 seed. They got that seed on rep and rep alone. One and done for the 4 seed Mashed potatos

How did ham get a #2 ranking? Must've bought the seed! They may be there every year but we all know they are overrated.

Meats only get 2 in are you fricking kiding me. They should have gotten Ham, Turkey, and Turduken in.

I was positive Pizza would slide in at #16. Thought they overtook Peas and Onions at the end.

I doubt mincemeat will win at all. They are always over-rated, and generally only compete against desserts like cupcakes and brownies all season long.

Gravy had every matchup covered nicely in my bracket. Man, that is a slippery, smooth team.

Cranberry Sauce didn't even make the field - too weak of a resume. Needless to say, it was a bittersweet ending for the boys in Crimson.
