As Cats2506 said, "national TV" is very huge. Kids who are juniors and seniors in high school don't give much of a hoot whether this year's Grizzlies win the national championship. They care more about whether their own high school teams win state championships. But they will, and do, remember (amid the college recruiting clutter) that they watched a Friday night game in late December on ESPN and one of the teams was the Montana Grizzlies. To the top recruits, the MSU Bobcats might as well be the Wilsall Blackbirds or the Clyde Parke Longhorns or whatever (in other words, totally off the map). I am hoping that with steady leadership by Coach Ash, the Cats will grow to be a competitive team and will become serious post-season contenders. I would love to see the Cats on ESPN. Wouldn't it be amazing if a bracket worked out some day pitting UM and MSU in a semi-final game, a Griz-Cat game on ESPN? That would be awesome.

Yup, I think you're right. That was good exposure. You guys dang near beat Appy State. The unfortunate interception thrown by the MSU receiver ended it, correct? I know that was a high-risk play that got a lot of second-guessing, but part of me really liked the play call.
