Flipped over to the Griz game after the Cats won to see what NAU looks like this season. I feel sorry for you griz fans having to watch that shoddy of a production. It's borderline unwatchable... and I thought Altitude's broadcast was bad. Not to mention the color guy is terrible.

It was terrible today. Ridiculously bad, actually. I'm thinking they must have just grabbed some NAU student off the street to run the camera. It's not usually anywhere near that bad, however. Or at least the camera work isn't. Any time Hermes is in the booth it's bad. Edwards and Bennett both do a very nice job as analysts. Hermes is just a big blob.

NAU's "announcers" or horrid, at least most Griz fans didn't have to listen to them like those of us watching on BSTV did. Holy crap they were baaaaad.

Yeah, I had DVR'd the NAU/SUU game last week, and I agree ReMax. NAU's guys are all bad.

When he turns on his "voice of excitement," it really sounds cheesy. Poor man's Marv Albert.

You've gotta be kidding me. I could see if you'd said the color guy (the meathead former NFL O-lineman who's name eludes me at the moment), but Chris Byers? He's a Montana institution, and a pretty good PBP guy. Helps that he's not a homer like Phil is.

He is a great guy. But, IMO, he's bad calling a game. FWIW, I agree Phil Buck is bad, too.
