so, i ventured over to egriz this morning, and i can't help but notice that yet another thread has been locked. it just seems to me that a thread or two is locked by the mods over there every day. so, is this because there are so many idiots posting over there that this is really necessary? which i could believe. or are they just that controlling over there? it just seems that on bobcatnation threads have to get really personal before they are locked...which i appreciate. it's nice to get in heated discussions, occasionally question other members manhood, talk a little crap, and not have to be so concerned that a mod is gonna lock it. in fact, a lot of times i wish they would lock more threads...or at the very least ban stupid posters like we had to deal with this weekend! so, i'm actually curious. are there just too many idiots intentionally trying to get threads locked, or are the mods over there jus a little to quick to lock a thread?

p.s. - i have never had a thread locked so i'm not just over here whining cause i got my feelings hurt!

I just looked at the 1st page of every section over there (40 threads per page) and there is ONE thread locked. Someone (you?) posted the word "QUEER" in their post. I bet you were offended, huh?

wow. as i said...not me. you clearly kow nothing about me but take a look at my posts here, and over there (ilovethecats) and try to find me stirring up stuff. are you denying the fact that way more threads get locked than over here? have you ever heard me say anything about their site? did i not make it clear that i was actually asking? just wondering if it's because they have to deal with posters such as yourself who over reacts and assumes things, and uses words that they don't like such as you used here. but this will actually prove what i was saying. someone said queer over their and it got locked. you chose to get on the defensive, and you chose to use it here three times and i'd bet it doesn't. so, back to my question. as people who use both sites, do you think that it's overly sensitive mods that choose to lock anything they deem inappropriate, or are they just sick of the constant trash spewed like this post i'm responding to? never mind...may have my answer.

Yes the other board is that petty. there are a couple of mods over there that cannot be objective about the Griz, never played football in their lives and now have the power to stifle those they disagree with. I guess it makes them feel good about themselves and their writing skills.

BN is a superior board for its views on speaking your mind on the message board and not being docked for your input.

ya, i probably should have just addressed my question to you as i really was interested, and some people can't look past the cat-griz thing to answer a question. you don't have to search to long before seeing several threads locked all the time. first, i assumed it was because they have to deal with so many tools. it is however eGRIZ. but then i realized that the guy stirring the most stuff was you, so that didn't add up. i mean, you post stupid stuff over here daily. anyway, it was just a question. just seems like our posters are either way better, or our mods more tolerant. probably both.

Pretty much. Just been working a lot and my wife is pregnant so its keeping me really busy. I still read all the stuff just don't post as much.

Excited about the bobcats though!
