Once again, your arrogance and stupidity amazes me. You obviously don't know that his brother is playing for the cats and their family are proud cat fans. He will not be going to Missoula. As long as they keep Hauke around, the Cats will continue to get more and more of the Montana kids. We already have closed the gap. In a couple years it will be equal. You won't be talking after both him and Rodderick from Bozeman, the top two quarterbacks coming out next year, are both in blue and gold. You must be in love with that stadium though. Every post you put up, you talk about how great it is.catnipt wrote:If Jake plays his College football in Montana, dont be suprised that he plays it for the GRIZ. If the Griz win this year and again at Griz Stadium in 2010 with our noise and atmosphere, he will pick the U of M.
When we played Sam Houston State in 2001 a year we won the NC, i went over to the SHU fan area to congratulate them on a good year. I exchanged my hat with a SHU cheerleaders father, who was an alum of Texas A & M. He was still a season ticket holder of them and he ranted how much louder this place was vs. Kyle field. He said i will try to tell my friends 25,000 people in Montana were louder than the 12th man and they will think im nuts. But he said that we were louder!BwanaCat wrote:Keep dodging me Catnipt
i'll say one thing. i'm sure you were lying about all those stories. or you talked to idiots. wash griz is loud. really loud. it's a great place to watch a game. highly doubt it's louder than kyle field. but i also have been to over 20 vikings games in the dome, and you are either lying, or just mistaken if you think wash griz is anywhere near as loud as there. easily the loudest building i have ever been in. not that it should be. wash griz = open-air/25,000....metrodome=dome/70,000. you guys have a great venue, but let's at least for a second try and put things in perspective. it's embarrasing.catnipt wrote:When we played Sam Houston State in 2001 a year we won the NC, i went over to the SHU fan area to congratulate them on a good year. After another Playoff game against Northern Iowa, we had refs from the SEC and when we went out for pizza after the game the refs were sitting next to us and i heard them talking about the crowd and they compared our crowd with any SEC school as far as noise went. I introduced myself when we were leaving and they marveled at how loud Griz stadium was. They were told it was loud, but thought yeah right, we ref in the SEC!!!
ESPN announcers have said that Griz stadium is as loud as any stadium that they have been to, and only 25,000 people. They named teams like Ohio St. Michigan, Tennessee and Georgia. ESPN's sound meter had it as loud as 117 decibles which was louder than a Jet liner taking off at 114.
Sports Illustrated rated Griz Stadium in the top 25 places to watch a football game in ALL of college. The Griz were the only FCS school to be mentioned in the article.
My family has season tixs to the Minnesota Vikings and have been to well over 15 NFL and Major college games and have yet to be blown away by anyone elses noise.
Kramer even was asked about the crowd noise at Texas A & M after the game and he snickered and said it didnt bother us at all, HECK WE HAVE PLAYED AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MONTANA!
Ok i played with you are you happy now???

hahahahahahahaha
Actually no he's right - the article appeared in the Huntsville Item (among many other national articles about Wash-Griz) from I *believe* Jason Barfield who stated it was the LOUDEST stadium he'd ever been in after covering games in Kyle Field, Memorial Stadium, etc etc.whitetrashgriz wrote:i'll say one thing. i'm sure you were lying about all those stories. or you talked to idiots. wash griz is loud. really loud. it's a great place to watch a game. highly doubt it's louder than kyle field. but i also have been to over 20 vikings games in the dome, and you are either lying, or just mistaken if you think wash griz is anywhere near as loud as there. easily the loudest building i have ever been in. not that it should be. wash griz = open-air/25,000....metrodome=dome/70,000. you guys have a great venue, but let's at least for a second try and put things in perspective. it's embarrasing.catnipt wrote:When we played Sam Houston State in 2001 a year we won the NC, i went over to the SHU fan area to congratulate them on a good year. OMG. no panties in a bunch here. but when guys such as nipt and yourself make such an effort to be an ass, we're not going to take you too seriously. Combine that with the fact that their were blatant inaccuracies...and i disregarded the entire post. so, what you're saying is that because some guy said it in the paper it's fact? tell that to all your buddies bashing your own school paper. i went to michigan-ohio state in the big house a few years back, and you're completely mistaken if you think wash-griz is louder. did i say anything bad about wash-griz in my post? far from it. i think it's a great place to watch a game, and it's really loud. i said that right? just making sure. but to say it's louder than the dome which is consistently the loudest in the nfl, and now to say you're louder than michigan is just not accurate. i have not heard one person say that our stadium is better or louder than yours. it's like you guys make up things just to have a cat-griz pissing match. but just because our stadium isn't as loud as yours doesn't mean i can't comment on the many stadiums I've been in and no for a fact wash-griz doesn't touch. i'll give you UW and OSU though. however, they're not very loud as i'm sure you know. but let's try and keep the comparisons realistic.PBRgriz wrote:Actually no he's right - the article appeared in the Huntsville Item (among many other national articles about Wash-Griz) from I *believe* Jason Barfield who stated it was the LOUDEST stadium he'd ever been in after covering games in Kyle Field, Memorial Stadium, etc etc.whitetrashgriz wrote:i'll say one thing. i'm sure you were lying about all those stories. or you talked to idiots. wash griz is loud. really loud. it's a great place to watch a game. highly doubt it's louder than kyle field. but i also have been to over 20 vikings games in the dome, and you are either lying, or just mistaken if you think wash griz is anywhere near as loud as there. easily the loudest building i have ever been in. not that it should be. wash griz = open-air/25,000....metrodome=dome/70,000. you guys have a great venue, but let's at least for a second try and put things in perspective. it's embarrasing.catnipt wrote:When we played Sam Houston State in 2001 a year we won the NC, i went over to the SHU fan area to congratulate them on a good year. I've seen 100,000 at Michigan, 75k at Washington, and 50k at Oregon State and yes - Wash-Griz is louder than those.
You kitty fans can continue to get your panties in a bunch about this but don't be bitter to hear things like this. Just because your gameday atmosphere and stadium are a hair above Colstrip High School's doesn't mean the Griz Envy has to come full force.
Kramer who?catnipt wrote: Kramer even was asked about the crowd noise at Texas A & M after the game and he snickered and said it didnt bother us at all, HECK WE HAVE PLAYED AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MONTANA!
