Qualifiing exam For TV Announcers

After hearing the stories of KXLF's Shane Ewing performance I started thinking about what MSU could do to make sure that they had an even slightly knowlagable understanding of MSU basketball (or football). I know the Griz have rejected radio and TV announcers before. I know that we most likely get that, but in future can you get it written in the contract that they must pass a Montana State team oral test? Tough questions like:

- Correctly name and pronounce all players on the roster (written roster allowed as a cheat sheet)

- Correctly identify where a few random players are from (written roster allowed as a cheat sheet)

- Name a former Bobcat basketball player

- Name the leading scorer and rebounder on the team

- Give one anecdote that proves you have at least talked to Brad Huse

- Finally ask them who are Brad Huse and Tricia Binford (No cheat sheets allowed)

Those are my ideas of questions, anyone have any others.

Question #1: Are you a f'in ? If yes turn in exam, if no--continue to question #2.

You guys are being too hard on the announcers.

They are just like everyone else..............................they dont care about bobcat sports just like the rest of the world.
