What happened to your defense? The hell with your offense in this farcical game. 64-61? Against UNC, for god's sake? Is this basketball? The game was a farce. Seems like the old question with the Cats: What team will show up? You guys don't know what you have, when UM held SacSt to 25 points & you allowed them 61 points? I predict a blowout by UM in the Griz/Cat game: Griz 42 Cats 18. This is based on the differential between the Griz & Cat scores vs. SacSt by my own reckoning. The Griz will clean the BSC board here on out. The Cats? I really wonder.

Not smack. Just telling it like it is & you're not handling it. Both UM & MSU struggled with SacSt, a team I predicted would finish in the BSC far higher than the polls predicted. SacSt is a team to be reckoned with. Ok, you take the offensive figures & that's ok. Yet, I have to wonder why your defense broke down like it did in the 2d half. Had your defense held up, you'd have had a clear (& more respectable) victory. I don't know what happened to the Cats that 2d half. I'm wondering if Ash knows. This is a case of, "Was it REALLY a win"? The game was a scrimmage run amok. That's all it was. You better have your act together when you meet the Griz, and I mean that, sincerely. You still have time.

my money's on BAC in 5.....4.....3....2......

READ other posts on here to get some clue as to what happened if you are truly interested. If not and you just wanted to stir the pot, then go take your kindergarten smack to the appropriate place.... the sand box.

Madman you are an idiot. If you had any clue you would know that MSU played the entire game with only 3 LB and 6 DL. In addition, several long plays were against three corners that have played litte this year and we were missing our top senior safety. Not to menion the leadership of Bignall. On top of that, it was 120 degrees on the field.

If you had half a brain, you should be much more concerned with the fact that MSU put up 64 points without a turnover and only one major penalty. While the Friz had 4 turnovers against the same Sac St team. Also, the Cats ran 261 yards on a team that your mighty Friz could only put up 40 yds on at home. Also, the MSU O-line did not give up a sack the whole game.

So get a clue moron. On top of that, you might want to also consider the fact the Cats held a team to 7 points that put up 36 point on the Griz when it actually had a full defense available to play the game. Finally, your vaunted Friz could only get 30 points against a horrendous UNC team and still managed 2 turnovers.

So pull your head out of your A&& and realize the Friz have 2 losses against FCS teams. One more loss and you will be in the round of 20 and two more losses and you might be sitting home.

Look. All I'm trying to do is ask what happened in Sacramento. Sorry for the Denny remark. Yeah, you won, but that score was ridiculous. If this is smack, so be it. It does call up a valid comparison between UM & MSU for the Griz/Cat game. The Griz will clean the BSC board, as usual, until then. Until then, could I say the same for the Cats? I would like to see an evenly matched game between the Griz & the Cats, but based on the common result of the SacSt game, I don't think that will be. As to the EWU game, that's pretty irrelevant. How could the Cats blow out the Eagles & struggle in such a farcical game with SacSt?

Believe me. I wanted to see the Cats that won against the Eagles to appear in the SacSt game. I did not see that & it disappoints me. I still say the game was a farce, even if SacSt had won. Ok, a win is a win. I do not believe this win bodes well for the Cats. I still have memories of the Colorado/Chadron State debacle in mind, and I know you do, too.

you JUST said the game was a farce. "discussion" over. congrats on a huge win over perennial powerhouse northern colorado.

the point is, you don't even know what you're talking about. you didn't even get the teams correct. you're just talking smack and you know it. what if i was an idiot and went over to egriz after the win against ewu (i'd call them weber though 'cause i'm really dumb) and ask you what the problem is that you guys couldn't beat a team we beat easily. it would be dumb huh? unlike your game against SAC STATE....we were completely blowing them out. it wasn't even halftime and our guys were going through the motions. sure, this is something that needs to be fixed. this is something the fans and players are not happy about. but i don't think anyone is too worried about our defense when we were missing starters. tell you what though, because you seem so concerned that our defense is so bad, i'll bet you $100 you guys don't 40 against the cats when we play. you got the balls to back up your weak smack? by the way, great win over idaho state last weekend...

and please, don't even begin to compare the moderating over here to that of egriz. it's not even close.

All I've tried to do in starting this thread was to find out what you think was wrong with the ridiculously high scores of the SacSt game. I think there was something seriously wrong. I guess most of you don't. Both defenses, it seems, broke down in the 2d half, esp. on the part of MSU to allow SacSt to come roaring back the 2d half. Why do you think that is? Maybe you don't know any more than I do. If so, please stop the insults.

The press has ignored it, yet I think it's probably the highest cumulative score in FCS history.
