@UMAthleticsAD
Jim O'Day
Griz-Cat football in Missoula on Saturday. Both teams playing for their playoff lives. It should be exciting. Be sure to bundle up.

Umm, sorry WAC-o, your team is the only one fighting for it's playoff life this time. Have fun with that.

What a NIMROD. My wife, the griz fan, insists that the griz are in no matter what....I tried to tell her not really...unless they win....

George Geise in the trib in one of his articles mentions that some people think that the griz can get in with a loss. I don't see it but as O'Day in on the committee you never know.
Of course if you ask some griz fans we won't deserve to be in the playoffs unless we win 20 out 25 years.

O'day can't be in the room when the griz are being discussed for consideration is my understanding.

On "This week in Big Sky Football" Craig Haley of TSN was asked about the possibility of a team (um) with only 6 DI wins getting in. While he said it was possible he said that he thinks the committee will be very reluctant because they would not like to set that precedent in the first year of the expanded playoffs.
I think that is a good point

O'Day obviously just trying to focus on and enhance the spirit of the rivalry. UM definitely one of the top tier programs. Cats, per usual, acting like they haven't been there before. Understandable, because they haven't.
Yes.

It's called R-E-S-P-E-C-T. Not that you can relate, just that you might understand, what with your outstanding English department and all.
You see kittens, once you get into those playoffs for 17 years straight, people start to believe you're for real. You'll never understand that specifically, I know, but you can relate in theory since, for a change, you have a team that's worth acknowledging.
Good luck tomorrow and enjoy your year--its your chance to take advantage of a very average UM team--enjoy your shot at the title, little bro!

So you are saying that the friz make it with even a loss? You would probably think they should be in with only 1 win because they are the "griz"

I guess there wasn't as much R-E-S-P-E-C-T for the fizz as he thought
