A metaphor for the season?

Lurking around on egriz and saw a reference to this today. Hadn't heard anything about this from the weekend, but apparently Monte took a header on the motor he rode into the game.

Is it a bad sign when your mascot is crashing? Kind of like a portion of the fan base the last couple weeks?

Nate Montana received his second DUI of the season by wearing the Monte mascot suit and attempting to ride a motorcycle in Washington-Grizzly stadium...

When Pflugrad was given the keys to the Cadillac, Monte was given the keys to the Harley.......with similar results.
