I am one Idaho Vandal who hopes you Bobcats kick those arrogant Grizzlies rear ends this year. They sure do hold themselves out as being being better than they really are. I like the Cats and I need not remind you that your head coach is a Vandal. You guys should join the WAC and leave the Griz behind. If you did it would be just like the old days in Sky. We played some great games over the years. I wish Idaho was still in the Sky but the powers to be will never let it happen.

Best of luck this season and beat the Griz!

Nice to know there are others out there who think the griz are full of themselves.
I hated to see you guys leave the Big Sky, too bad you didn't stay.

82Vandal... sure appreciate the support and encouragement! We WILL kick the Griz all over the place this year! Have to admit though, I am a fan of the State of Montana so support the Griz some too... but you are so right... in a program that seems to breed success... they are very, very arrogant and full of themselves in this state and within the Big Sky.

So did the Idaho crowd actually chant that, or is this another product of internet bulletin board urban legends passed on by select Griz fans to put down other fan bases? I have noticed an abundance of such stories being posted that never seem to be quite based on historical reality.

Oh yeah they chanted it. And made the little clapping noise with these little gold inflatable thunder sticks passed out before the game. Their rythm was okay. Music ed must be going well in Moscow.

I wasn't at the game, so I can't say whether the Idaho fans chanted that or not. I find it hard to believe that they would, though -- it would have been an odd chant, considering that prior to the 2002 game, we had beaten Idaho in both of the two previous years.

Regardless, given that we have now beaten the Vandals the last FOUR times we played them (including a 41-28 beating in the last game, which was in 2003), I can't say I blame this clown for being a little bitter. I'm sure someone will give in to the knee-jerk urge to label me as "arrogant" for this post, and that's fine...but before you do, please remember who it was that came here and started the smack talk in this thread.

I don't think they sell tortilla shells at the Kibbie Dome

Please excuse the replies from the griz- we can't get rid of them because they are on the endangered species list.

Always enjoyed playing you guys and made numerous trips to Moscow for both FB & BB when you were in the BSC. Also miss Boise and UNR because they were great road trips.

That is some funny stuff 82vandal, a I-A team calling in a I-AA ringer. It is quite a compliment that Idaho still thinks so much about the Griz, thanks for the ego boost, that according to you is already too high. All Griz fans are arrogant scum, we know...we know. We're used to the labels and pigeon holeing. I'm sure you are in the camp that thinks all asians are good at math, all arabs have a bomb in their pocket, all people from idaho are skin heads...oh wait, you are from Idaho, you probably don't think that one, do you?
Anyway go BCS busters, I truely hope Idaho can become one of them, but untill that time Go Boise St.
And since we are in Montana I'll give a M-O-N-T-A-N-A...Montana! not this Idaho nonsence from the kat poster.

Ugh...

I realize that MSU and UI never had the same kind of rivalry that the Griz had with the Vandals, but the love fest on this thread is still pretty nauseating.

I vote we take scats, nick and dumbclass2002 to the woodshed and stomp some butt.
None of them contribute anything worthwhile to Bobcat Nation. I'll lay odds that all three of them together don't weigh 350 pounds, but they all have the large, obnoxious, arrogant gizz mouth that is only good for one thing.
